The Gay Community wants to know why the government will not accept that homosexuals exist and we should have rights. This is the land of freedom and the right to practice what we believe in. So why can't we join together with out loved ones and become a legal couple. The government needs to know why we should be able to marry whom ever we want. Love is love no matter what shape or form it comes in.

Do you want to know why gays cannot marry in the U.S.? It has nothing to do with gender, but rather species. You see, marriage must be between to humans. Homosexuals are NOT humans, because they are without the very basic human instinct, the desire to pro-create. It should therefore be legal to kill a homosexual. After all, they do not contribute to our great nation at all. It would be like stepping on a bug.

I myself am not gay. But i think that it doesnt matter what gender you and the person you love are. I think that if a man and a man, or a woman and woman want to married THEN LET THEM! I also think it is dumb how people say that god doesnt believe in gays. Well if that was the case, then he wouldnt of made them.

Yea I'm the straight girl that fights for gays and get some pretty weird looks for it. No matter how old I get, I never understand why. Why is being gay bad? First it was black vrs. white, then christains vrs. jews and now it's gays vrs. straights. Does anyone learn from history? before we would never accept a black man marrying a white woman, now it's perfectly fine. Someday, I believe, gays will be able to have that. I just wish it were today...

Although I am only thirteen years old and am not really gay, I believe that a gay couple can be a happy couple. It's like some of you said, marriage is defined by love, not gender. And two people should have the right to be together if they love each other. And just what is it that Bush has against gay marriage, anyway? if he can't give a good reason, then why is he even talking.
