I support this petition. CEC is a place designed for children not adults. My family will NOT spend another dime in this establishment if you procede with the plans to serve alcohol.
What is it coming to where alcoholic beverages are sold at a childrens entertainment place. You guys are just asking for a lawsuit . CEC is chaotic and what would you do if a child drinks the wrong drink. Shame on you guys!!
I support this petition. Folks, you see what drives this business who came in and "sold us a bill of goods" on a place for our children and then to have the gall to slide alchohol in the back door offends me greatly. Its all about money$$$$ NOT our children! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANY LONGER! Stand up and be counted or quit complaining.
I support this petition. I can not believe that people are going to carry their children to Chucky Cheeses, drink, and then leave with their children in the car with them. I don't know of anyone who goes to chucky cheese when they don't have children. I hope that Decatur PD is waiting outside when they leave.
I support this petition. It is unbelievable that this would even be conceivable. If you are taking your kids to have fun how selfish (much less that fact that it is wrong) it is for adults to even think about drinking alcohol. Not only is it bad for the small children that would be there but also many teenagers work there as well. Please reconsider this proposal of alcohol sales and let our children have a safe place to go to to have fun.
I support this petition. Selling alcohol at Chuck E Cheese will set a precedent for every other establishment in our area that provides entertainment for our children. The hope of making a larger profit will be at the expense of our children's safety and well being.
I support this petition. I do not want my grandchildren to have the hassel of alchol being served here. If so, I will not take my grandkids to this facility. I cannot believe that Chuck E Cheese would serve alcohol! God Bless the USA
I support this petition. I do not have small children, but I have a niece and I will not take her to Chuck E Cheese if alcohol is served. What is happening to our integrity, Decatur?
I support this petition. I can not believe that Chuck E Cheese would request Alcohol sales must less that Decatur City Council would even consider the request and that they approved it is even harder to believe. We need a place for our kids to have fun and be safe. If Chuck E Cheese sales alcohol I will not bring my kids. If this is to be a safe environment there is no need for alcohol. This is an invite for adults with wrong attention. Chuck E Cheese makes money from our children - what are they thinking? Is Alcohol sales really worth angering parents and putting children in a dangerous environment.
Once again Economics overrides the safety of our children. Putting alcohol in an adults hand while they are responsible for driving children? What a moral and social liability you will have...
I support this petition. I have small children that I would no longer allow to go to Chuck E Cheese if there are alcolhol sales there. Can our children not have something for them without selfish adults trying to make an extra profit and jeopardizing their safety for a buck.
It is a shame that this is even being considered in a part of our great nation that used to be known as "the Bible Belt". Please for the sake of our families, let there be some places where we can actually take our children to have fun in this city. I DO SUPPORT THIS PETITION!!
#37 will be a patient in our fine Decatur West soon! Mental help and drug treatment is needed for anyone that would mix alcohol and children. Lets just sprinkle ecstasy on the pizza and serve ground up crack on the side! No more CEC for my children, hopefully yours either.
I support this petition. IF, and I use the word very loosely, #37 is really the mascot for Chunk E Cheese, I pray this person is w/o a job soon. Why in the world would a franchise that serves and caters to children even want to consider serving beer?
I support this petition. And I think that your company makes enough money from party, pizza and game sales without needing a big cut from the beer companies.
I support this petition and hope that you will make the decision that BEST serves the children. Afterall isn't that who this restaurant was opened for? I will not be able to support the CEC-Decatur if alcohol becomes a part of the menu.
