This is an attempt to make the Carmel High School Administration and the district leaders realize how many people attend and enjoy the annual homecoming bon fire and fireworks display. The administration has underestimated the event, its audience and the tradition that is has our community for many years. Relocation may be a better option than canceling a positive community function that has more positive associations than negative, and a very large audience.

We, the parents of students within the community and/or taxpayers of Carmel, expect the administration to work with the Homecoming Committee and try to find reasonable solutions to solve their concerns. We are hopeful that the two organizations will work together as a learning community to provide the best opportunities for our student athletes, their families and friends.

Let the Fire Burn! Do Not Cancel This Show! There must be other options! Investigate them first before giving up!

As a Carmel Alumni, I support this and wished we would have had something like this when I was in school

Traditions are important to all of us. This bonfire is more then just a fire - it is something that many in Carmel look forward to every year. Enough taking things away - time to find a better solution then just saying
