We the below signed are asking our elected officials and government to give harsher punishment for offenses against our children.Sexual predators and offenders that lurk,stalk and hurt our children need to be punished the way they punish our innocent children.They should be locked up and not just slapped on the hand and let out to hurt more children.When they murder they need the death penalty.If they are released they should be tracked by a monitoring system that does not allow them to relocate without letting officials know.And all offenders should be posted as one not on state web sites.

What kind of a society are we that we fail to protect our children? Children's lives are ruined and we are more concerned about the criminals' rights than the victims'. One offender can ruin soooo many lives and yet they are still on the streets. What is wrong with governments that allow this to happen? What kind of future are we headed towards if this continues? It needs to STOP NOW! Every child deserves to be protected and that will never happen if there aren't stiffer sentences. Children..there is NOTHING more important. It is sickening to think that more isn't being done to protect each and everyone of them.

If there were tougher laws they would think twice about it! Regardless we are suppose to PROTECT our children NOT give rights to perps!!! Where was they innocent victims rights! I say if you knowingly and willingly do a crime then you have forfitted your rights! Come on lets get it right like it use to be!

I did an internship with the Ohio Network of Child Advocacy Centers and was appalled to hear the words from his mouth to my ears that "I firmly believe that there is rehabilitation for pedophiles." Mr. Ben Murray, Head of the Abused Children's Advocacy Centers for the state of Ohio. If this is the lead advocate for sexually abused children for my state, there is no hope for increased penalties yet. I am disgusted.

I think molesting children is the worst criminal offence. the penility should always be death. I know some people think the two wrongs don't make a right, violence doesn't end violence etc. But one the other hand imagine how many men would think twice about abusing our children if they knew they would die. If not death then casteration and being put in solitary confinment after being injected with aids. It's not about punishing them it's about scaring other enough so that they won't commit this crime
