Please bring back "Christopher Lowell" (CL) to regular TV channels---ones that the poor/middle-class can afford. He has been moved to the Rich-boy channels, 200-level, where that audience would not appreciate or use a do-it-yourselfer show.

I think the move is part of the increasingly aggressive conservative movement to kill, undermine or bury shows that don't fit the STRAIGHT Wasp Howdy-Doody, religious mealy-mouthed mold. They want to get rid of anything that might empower people or feature a non-conformist, non-Barbie doing positive things.

I enjoy CL because he shows in a Realistic, Very Thorough detail how to build imaginative bookcases, beds, and anything else....real projects in a respectful, non-threatening, approachable style. He educates folks on how to improve their homes and works on building self-esteem as well.

Other decorators have "FANTASY-decorating" Shows, UNREALISTIC, where they'll saw 1-piece of wood & "Poof! they're done!" Or they demo buying $500 worth of cheap knick-knacks, throw it in a room & "Poof! They're done!" Plus they are so Barbie-doll-ish, they are nothing more than a hand-puppet fashion accessory for the network--it's just a load of insincere posturing and scripts.
I do not want to see more ARROGANT Barbie-clones acting like action-figure cartoons and kick-boxing down the homeowner's previous efforts, while the homeowners watch with silent hurt-feelings. How is that educating people?

CL seems very sincere in his real love of people, viewers or folks asking for help. He's reassuring, funny, irreverent, but never cruel. You can tell he tries very hard to create useful, wonderful projects in a step-by-step method that people will feel empowered to try.
Please move him back to where he can do the most good for the people who need it the most. (Regular TV channels, Discovery Channel or get picked up by ABC, CBS, FOX, UPN, NBC)
So many people have fallen on hard times, it would be nice to have Christopher back, he shows in realistic fashion how to improve things, PLUS he teaches skills that folks could use forever.

I\'m so sick and tired of watching contractors fix homes and realtors findor sell them. The last time I watched a home interior show that helped me and the only time I EVER ATTEMPTED TO TRY MY HAND AT MAKING SOMETHING WAS WHEN I NEVER MISSED CHRISTOPHER LOWELL\'S SHOW!
