Who is Daniel Craig?....that's right, he's a jackass. Clive Owen is the perfect 007 and he needs to know that people want to see him as James Bond.

here's what i can't understand: Clive Owen might not have been the perfect bond, but to me he outranks Craig in like every category. ESPECIALLY if they were making Bond "edgier" for the Casino Royale. The creators definitely dropped the ball, and alienated a lot of fans.

I think that Daniel Craig will make a great James Bond, because he has a certain charm to him that he does just get from the script like all the other Bonds (excluding Sean Connery of course)so no i do not support your petition but i respect your views, i say we should give him a chance. I bet Brosnan had the same problem in the beginning.

Because I think Clive can come as close to Sean Connery as any other actor. Take this role man, Daniel Craig just doesn't look right. Big mistake you don't take the next one.

Are you kidding me? There is no other choice in my mind. Thinking of clive owen as james bond, is like thinking of sean connery as james bond. it fits like a round peg. There should be NO other choice, he is James Bond. It is the most perfectly done casting job, to put Clive in this role. He has a hundred times the suave nature and sophistication of daniel craig. Not to say Daniel isn't a good actor, he is, but he is definitely not a better choice for Bond.

Clive Owen is an awesome, sophisticated choice for the next 007, and would be a wonderful addition to the Bond franchise! And, No. 3, Pierce Brosnan will not return after his recent comments towards the franchise, i personally believe that Clive could and would be perfect to fill the shoes of the worlds most famous secret agent, and after seeing 'Sin City' i am convinced he will do a fine job!

Clive Owen lacks the sophistication to be James Bond. He has too much of a hard edge. He was well suited to BMWfilms as The Driver. Unfortunately, he did not fare as well as King Arthur. This single fact, his failure to portray a classic character, is proof enough he could not fill the shoes of the classic 007 figure. He has to have the ability of saying his lines without sounding like he's reading it from a script book, as he did in King Arthur. So who should be the next James Bond? We could only hope Pierce Brosnan has a change of heart, otherwise the search continues.

Clive Owen is the only reasonable alternative, he'd bring more amazing car chases, which seems to be the only thing holding the recent Bond movies together. Plus, he kicks total ass.
