I'm deaf since birth, and I enjoy watching movies...especially if they are captioned. We deaf people would greatly benefit (and will pay more) if movie DVD's have closed captionings on ALL features, not just the movie itself. Thank you very much and we appreciate it!

Stay the way for everybody even the eldery who can't hear at all, can able to read what they have to say. Very important.

We Deafies have equal rights to understand what is being spoken in the movies as the Hearies do; therefore, all shows and movies including both VHS and DVD movies should be closed captioned. Even hearing children benefit from reading captions while listening for it aids in their learning to read and write. I am hearing, but i support the Deaf community, I have CC on my tv because my roomate is Deaf and we cant even watch a good movie because the FCC or ADA , they need to improve the CC, my second comment is why dont they even have CC on DVD previews if your selling the movie dont you think the Deaf want to know what the up coming movie is about. this needs to be mandated that all DVD,T.v shows, commercials, movies, have Close Caption. sign off Deaf supporter!

i think everything on tv should have cc for the deaf comunity its not far for them to watch tv and not really know what the show or program is about. i think that if you do this your rateings would go up.

i am 100% deaf but im also a human being that should be treated the same as any other person on this planet...yes i understand that it does cost to have equipment for cc but why do we have to be treated like we are from outer space ...we are only human just the same as you are... just because we are deaf or hard of hearing does not mean that we as humans on this planet should be treated no different....millions of dollars are spent on or sometimes spent needlessly yet when it comes to something like this you want to run and hide and say no. point to note as well that 1 in every 5 will have a distinct hearing loss of some sort and 1 in every 10 wil have severe total hearing loss

We really need closed caption for all (movie theatre, DVD, TV, etc...) so we will know what they are saying. How will you feel if you dont have speaker, you dont know what they are saying. Its same thing. If you need speaker, then we need closed caption. Thank you for read this comment.

For Hearing People, How do you feel there is no sound?

I really like watch tv, movie, etc with closed caption because if without, I won't know what they say or hard read lip and will be boring to watching it with c.c. I rather to watch it with that and which make me feel satisfied and understanding what they saying and learning education read for everyone (deaf people). I'll appreciate if c.c. stay on continue forever for deaf culture's values and needs. Thank you

This is desperately needed. I'm hard of hearing and my husband has appreciated the fact that I can use closed caption when otherwise, the show may have to be LOUDER than normal. Lets get this going!
