are you crazy?! do you want to talk about "greed?" look at the cell phones, ipods, xm statelitte, etc. are they designed for deaf and foreign people? unfortunately the answer is no. what about deaf people's pleasure? whooo! don't get deaf and other foreign community very angry. better act now to get all in closed captioned or soon you will see aggraviating people out there. it would be like mlk jr revolution in 60's about civil rights movement. think about it, dude.
High technology grows fast that benfits the hearing people. We have the same wants or needs to have the high technology with captions for DVD after the VHS had them ...Keep the captions being a part of the high technology production!!!
Let's stay on the running of closed captioned to help with all that way is more encourage and watching TV, DVD, movies, etc., who needed to gets know more what going on the News, etc., and hoping you guys do this handle for support with deaf peoples. Thank you for your cooperative.
It is a sad commentary when people, today, still refer to us as "deaf and dumb"! A lot of the news is not captioned. AND people wonder why we are not in tune with everything going on!!!!!!!

Please continue the captioning TV programs , movies, DVD or VHS. We deafies can not live without it, we are depending on CC for all programs. Also CC helps the foreigners to read English as their second language. Why remove it what will happen to deaf people or foreigners, we will be lost for sure. Please keep up with CC for our pleasures to watch the programs, movies, etc. Thank you,
June Davis
Closed Captioning is very important to me and everyone who needs it. Closed Captioning does increase the reading level development for those with low reading skills. Thank you.
We need close caption on tv, news, movie, dvd, video if we dont have close caption what we do is that mean we bother hearing people tell us all time or if any of our hearing family gone pass away what we do? If no close caption we be bore at home PLEASE STAY CLOSE CAPTION for us and deaf people god bless
Captioning is an important tool for everyone, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Senior Citizens, children and anyone as ESL.
My hearing daughter told me it helped her to read English better.
Can not believe people ignoring the real importance of closed captioning. I guess those who have ignored us are the one who needs education.
I agree it's time for all movies whether on DVD/VHS or on television to be fully captioned. It's not fair for us deaf/hearing impaired to miss out anything while the hearing has no plm not missing anything.
Please help adding CC on DVD and let deaf people enjoy watching the movies on TV.. think of deaf persons' necessities to give them the ability to enjoy watching and knowing what's going/happening with TV, DVD, movie tapes, etc..
Thanks and God bless you all!
Closed Captioning is very important for dear and hard of hearing community. It is required to have closed captioning on all the time, no matter what which for dvd, video tape, and for theatre. I do not like subtitle on DVD because myself I can reading lips and I noticed that subtitle absence a lot of words. I do not appericated that. It is worth of having closed captioning because some children of their reading level increased since you invented closed captioning. I was impressed by that. I prefer to have closed captioning on any kinds media, video, commerical, tv, theatre, and anything that capable of doing technology.
WE SPEND MANY BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR WARS, AND POLITICIANS' PAYCHECKS! DEAF PEOPLE SPEND THEIR MONEY TO BUY DVD MOVIES SAME AS HEARING PEOPLE DO, BUT DEAF GET CHEATED BECAUSE THEY CAN'T HEAR THE DIALOGUE!! THERE IS MONEY TO PAY FOR THE CAPTIONS; IF NOT, PAY THE ACTORS LESS!!
DEAR SIR, I WANT TO KEEP CLOSED CAPTIONED BEC WE DEAF NEED TO READ THE CLOSED CAPTIOED TO UNDERSTAND THEY SAY ON TV.. PLEASE KEEP THE CLOSED CAPTIONED. PLEASE. THANKS SUN
I was very disappointed to find some wonderful movies I wanted to rent was not closed captioned. That does not provide equal access to the Deaf patrons. It was ironic that the very same DVD has foreign language captioning.

WE must keep going on DVD of closed captioned, because we are deaf, and not understand without CC. MUST HAVE CC keep going forever!!!!
We must fight for keeping CC forever!!!
Captions are used by many many people (not all deaf)... It is a must for all videos! It also enhances reading skills in our young readers! It's a no brainer...
Preventing such closed captions is only expanding the isolation the Deaf often feel by not being able to keep up. Please keep this from happening by allowing us to have the opportunity to watch all captioned films/TVs. Thank you.
PLS CLOSED CAPTIONED ALL Movies and DVDS and THEATER!!and Without CC..... What am I watching and if no cc we cant understand or not pleasure to watch. Got to have it period.

I am hearing but my wife is deaf. CC should be an obligation from all associates of Tv, DVD etc. for the viewing audiance. For myself and others that have difficulty understanding some actor or actresses voice it is helpfull. (FCC) also stands for Funding Closed Caption!!! Thank you to those that have CC and are accurate and keep up with the scenes.
I like to see all dvds getting close captioned update I beg that old movies like classics or science ficton on 1930's through 1970's ! I complain that lots of old movies showing no close captioned !!!
Please continue the captioning TV programs, movies, DVD or VHS tapes as more and more are depending on them especially with the deaf community, late aged deafness, foreigners who are learning English, and also many TV's at the bars or restaurants where they can't hear when everyone talk so loudy thus they couldn't hear any TV programs. The Captions will benefits all kinds of people. Please for all our sakes, do not discontinue making the Captions on any thing that we not only enjoy watching with clear understandings but clearly know what they are talking about while watching. Thankyou,
Jeanne M. Lambert
