ahhhh Deaf People can't live without CCon movies, TV,DVD,VHS, etc.
please help the Deaf and Hard of hearing peopel to enjoy their lives with closed captioned!!!!
Closed caption is mandatory for all deaf and hard of hearing people to understand and enjoy entertainment. Note: It helps children read words early and fast.
Dear Producers: Wonder what will happen if you don't include sound on all video movies - worldwide hearing people will protest about it - no doubt! Now that's how we - the Deaf -feel about the lack of caption!
I was excited to see the DVD movie,"Pete's Meteor. After it was run, I found it not closed captioned even tho it stated on the back of the package. How disappointed I was and now I have no trust in you.
I fully support this initiative as it is imperative to include the Deaf. They are large population of economically viable consumers who should be able to follow along in a movie with CC.
Demand on closed captiong on any movie/tv. I enjoy to read what they talk about also important for deaf/hard of hearing to read the c.c. to help their expience/leaning the every words on their skill lang. Hope its Closed Captiong forever...

The CEO plays games to cut the expenses and wants to take extra $$$. I am very tired of the majority of crooked hearing ones. Bull Shit! We, DEAF/HARD Hearing enjoy to watch movies including closed captioned. I am the proud deaf gentleman who gives the majority hearings HELL ASS!.
come on everybody we all need something out of it... so we deaf must have cc... same thing for handicapped must have sign to have parked front.. blind have their own privileges so do deaf too... come on people..
They should be put on Closed Captioned to the DVD movie, Always! Because of Technology T.V. Improvement lot of change better than VHS problem is garble on C.C. unclearly... That's why I like DVD is very better clear as smooth so well!!! PLS KEEP IT STAYS C.C. OF DVD IS BEST THUMB UP BETTER THAN VHS VCR-(LOUSY)... VOTE-DVD IS ON C.C. FOREVER!!!!
Of course we want CC! Don't keep us in the dark. CC has benefited Deaf people especially me greatly! Also CC has helped me understand fully what is said between people. Without CC what is good to watch program when I won't be able to hear or read lips? Please keep CC!!
I have a friend who's husband is deaf. I have been with them when they watch movies and I understand their grief. Not being able to hear, but not being able to understand is more upsetting and demening. donna s.
This is the 21st century and there is no reason for Deaf individuals to be denied access to any movies...especially if they have been so recently made/or remade - that they exist on DVD. DVD's must have captions available. Also, it is time for the captions to STOP being labeled as "for the hearing impaired" and start being labeled "for Deaf individuals" or for "Hard of Hearing" This is really just common sense. Sometimes I wasted money on DVD's that does NOT have CC. It sucks when I can't return them when they were already opened. I only had the option to exchange it for something else. CC on all please! Pretty please?
It is important to allow full access to our deaf and hard of hearing citizens. You can help do this by making certain that all DVD movies have Closed Captioning, or even better - open captioning! Please comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act by captioning all DVD movies immediately.
Some of the DVD movie are missing or skip Closed Captions, I have to return back to store and refund to me. It made me so sick. Please all the Closed Captions on DVD and VHS. Thanks, James
It is very important that all DVDs are accessible to all people whether they're deaf or not. I like old movies and they are usually not captioned creating frustration for my friends and I. So please make it a requirement to caption all movies. Thanks!
I'm deaf and all deaf people does have their rights to know whatsoever it said on t.v. and even on theater while all hearing people can und what it said withour closed capitoned! So I vote to get closed captioned on it!
i think deaf people should have closed caption on anything tv, movie theater, dvd movies etc bec they need to know whats going on or whats about when they read caption they have right to have close caption keep running...
