Deaf have the right to understand what is being said. Based on that right it is unfair that people who can hear can understsand while deaf cannot. Why not take away voice usage and let hearing people try to understand what is being said.
I cannot believe how greedy movie producers think about money and not caring about how people understand the movie well with closed captions. Anybody even hearing people would like to see closed captions to understand the movie eventually. If you, movie producers, care, then you would get more benefit ever than before. The old saying, "You don't think of money, you get paid well." For many years, I've seen this same thing over and over again. I would drag you into my shoes and experience the sufferage. Pay attention! Thank you for understanding.
Please, let the people whomever got hearing problem or the elders enjoy watching the movies. Why would the movie producers reject those kind of people if they love to watch movies and even help the movie producers to get the extra profit.
Please, do this for everyone, not just hearing impaired. This will also benefit for those people who want to learn how to read (Closed Captioned) Enlgish to improved their education. Education is number one. Do not let us down! This is so important to us. If it wasn't for closed captioned. We will never understand what they (DVD movies) are saying. If refuse to cooperate to add closed captioned. Then I will refuse to buy DVD movies without closed captioned. The DVD movies without closed captioned will be out of business. So, I strongly suggust that DVD movies must be included closed captioned period. Thanks for ur time to read what I have to express.
Closed captions will allow more people to enjoy their favourite DVD. Captions will not only benefit deaf people, but also noisy environments like shopping centres and restuarants
Closed Captions benefit not only the Deaf and Hard of Hearing but also non-native English speakers who want to learn English more fluently and baby boomers and the eldery who are beginning to lose their hearing ability.
I'm very glad to heard how's the thing goes up in the deaf communtily. I think deaf world is going to change for good. I think we have a goal for this. Keep it up to work out on something that we miss some left.
There is millions with hearing loss including hard of hearing, adults with late deafness, and deaf children and adults. There are many hearing people that also enjoy closed captioned in noisy environments.
Yes! We need to be able to go to the movies. We need closed captioning there. Also, we need to continue to press our cable providers to feed in the close captioning. I went for years not knowing that Fox Cable News was close captioned, but the cable provider was not putting it through!
