Putting CC on all dvd's and movies is a great idea deaf people have more options and the gov reps the benefits in the profit. Lord knows it is not going to put the economy in debt because we are already in that LOL
I, for one, want to share relaxing times with my hearing husband by watching DVD movies.He always refuses to rent DVD movies that are not closed captioned. I insist that the closed captioned Dvd is an important part of deaf peoples'life. We also want to have this opportunity as hearing people do.
Closed captioned has been part of my life and also for people who are learning how to read may benfit them as well. As for me I can enjoy and udnerstand what is going on on movies and news and many more. Please keep closed cpationed alive.
all of deaf people need to have closed captioned tv,dvd ,movie and else we cant hear on voice and loud voice but we can read on closed captioned pls dont listen to bush what did he say to deaf poeple thats the law thank u
Hey, NOT FAIR with hearing people can enjoy while Deaf can't enjoy. Please let us deaf enjoy like hearing people ! PRETTY PLEASE support CC on any movies, news, live news, etc etc. We deaf want to be happy, not frustrated !
WE NEED CLOSED CAPTION! WE ARE FIGHTING FOR OUR DEAF! WE FINALLY GOT CLOSED CAPTION IN 1980s. TODAY, PEOPLE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT CLOSED CAPTION, WASTED OUR TIME TO FIGHT FOR MANY YEARS AND PEOPLE ARE STILL STUBBORN AND TREAT US NOT EQUAL WITH HEARING PEOPLE. Closed caption is very important. Deaf people have rights too. they are no different from you or i (i am hearing) my mother on the other hand is deaf. the only way she knows whats going on is if there is captioning. i think that there should be a rule for all movies to have (cc).
bush- stop spending too much money on the war and start support our disability because we are in need of help to achivement our life in america, with our disability we request some finicial support to put us into education and have a sucessful future, *we are trying to protect the society* know what ? government really dont give a sh*t about us..America is bankruptcy due to deep of debts over bush's stupid mistakes and his lack of listening our needs.
Oh no not another struggle for us! Keep the captions on DVD's. the movie theatres refuse to provide open capitoned movies due to it being "annoying" to hearing viewers. Well the captions in DVD's is a better alternative for the time being.
I really dont understand why these the TV/Movies companies can't understand lots about the deaf n hearing community. We (deaf n hearing) are born to be equal as hearing people and we does deserve to be equal as always. We do watch the tv or rent any movies like hearing people but we are deaf so we require to have CC because CC are only one techique to understand what all the MEDIA communications about are like other hearing people does listen to what they say. We don't need to be treated so differently like other hearing people are treated. I'm asking for all these CC programs to be benefitted into the whole media programs for future. All the tv/movie companies does have lot of millions to produce but they simply don't care about putting the CC programs into their movies because all the deaf n hearing people does pay their own money into watching the media tvs and movies. What is the difference? I do support that all the CC programs must be supported for all the deaf communities in over the world!
Want to read and write better? Use closed captions, not only for deaf people and as well as other people who's learning how to read english or any other languages.
THE CLOSED CAPTION IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR DEAF CHILDREN AND ADULT. IF YOU WORK FOR CLOSED CAPTION AND PLEASE GIVE THEM RAISE THEIR WAGES SO THEY WILL STAY THE JOB IN THE FUTURE! THANKS!
I feel helpless when my two little kids and we watch DVD/VHS together, there are some with no CC. I am DEAF mother and love to educate my hearing children but how can I educate or discuss with my children.
