deaf people really need a closed captioned for movies theaters, dvds, vhs, tv shows & breaking news. Deaf people must do same as hearing people out there like as a equal

I must have closed captioned and without them I am lost not know what they are saying. Closed Captioned is wonderful for deaf people so please do not STOP it. It a MUST.
I really tiredto hear allthe hearing peoples still not understand how our deaf peoples require to have closed caption on DVD, Theatre and television what did we pay tax federal living as we work hard our living than hearing peoples 's living . Where is the petition to have more movies theaters providing open caption movies? Right now, only movie theaters in big cities provide open caption movies. I don't live in a big city and don't feel I should have to drive three (3) plus hours to a big city with open caption movies.
Hi. There was a time when cc did not exist. Now that it does- what a difference it makes! I love how I can understand and not be confused or lost if I didn't pick up a word, etc. I can engage fully and want to rent more! CC makes a difference in A LOT of lives and should continue to be provided for ALL people who chose to use it! Please use your gifts/technology/services to bless others. Many people depend on it to enrich their lives.

Yeah Keep the DVD with the CC STAY ALIVE and it helps for all of the chilren and Adults to read for a better eductions and better read!!! Also understand better for the CC. Smile
I am Deaf, we all must have close captions - that which the hearing people can listen to tv, radio, not fair. So just leave the deaf world alone. we all must must have cc in any like tv, vhs, dvd, and anything that we watch. we can understand on dvd or else.
my niece is deaf, and he is 19 years old. He loves to watch the TV show/ movies. i believe that closed-caption is a effective to help my niece's reading level and it is not fair for him to not understand the tv show is about and he should enjoy the show as hearing people do. please keep the closed-caption program to keep my niece enterian from the tv show.
hey iam hard of hearing and i use the closed cationed for may year it help my kids to read and for one thing leave the Deaf alone. all you hearing try trune off the volume on the t.v let you see you can understand what the story is all about get it
I believe that all businesses should be required to provide reasonable accomidations for deaf under the ADA. I am a hearing person, but want to advocate for ethical standards and inclusion of the deaf community.

I'm hard of hearing still need the closed captions... My daughter use high volume due to hear problem... My ex sister in law was hearing and lost hear due diabeteic... The elderly people have hear problem... THEN PUT THE CLOSED CAPTIONS ON EACH MOVIES, we appericate and enjoy to watch the movies. GOD BLESS YOU!

I'm an American Sign Language interpreter and I have many deaf friends...my sister, neice & nephew are also deaf...we love to watch programs together...do you?Next time you are watching a program with friends or family or even yourself please turn the volume off and see if you can still enjoy it!...This is one of the many reasons closed captioning is needed. Please keep the CC on VHS, DVD etc. We need them for the deaf and also seniors who are losing their hearing. The deaf need to know what is being said so they can enjoy them as well!!! Please do better...

Keep Closed Captions on TV and DVD please because it's almost same as hearing people that can hear but for deaf people to read and understand. So please don't stop it because it will make things worse for the deaf people with education.
I want to keep closed captioning on dvd movies forever. We need to understand what the talkers saying. if without it,we don't understand nothing. cc is very important for us to understand and help us improving our language better in future
