I want to remind all of you. I am deaf. I never see Closed Captioned When i was little utnil i am out of world and I learing alot thing about Closed Captioned and I love Closed Captioned and I learing alot thing about thing. It is total my life and More clear understand what they talk about it. It was so Wonderful feeling and more understand.

I WILL NOT HAPPY REST MY LIFE. I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE LONG TIME AGO. THIS IS SO WONDERFUL TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WORDS AND WHAT THEY TALKED ABOUT IT AND IT SURE HELP ALOT ON CLOSED CAPTIONS. I SURE I LOVE IT SO MUCH THIS ONE AND PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TURN SHUT DOWN. I PRAY FOR IT TO KEEP GOING ON TO CLOSED CAPTIONED.

This is an essential service for all hearing impaired people. If you remove closed captions from DVD movies, you wouldn't hesitate to trip a blind person, nor would you hesitate to take away a crutch from a person with a walking disability. How can anyone be so cruel and heartless just to save a few dollars, and to put someone out of a job?
Yes, Please to stay on TV with CC as Forever. We needs to see CC like Hearing people who can hear is not fair with Deaf People. We feel hearing people taking big Advangate more than Deaf people. I hope you will support CC for our rights. Thanks you.
Please do not removed the Closed Caption from the DVD's movies. It is so much wonderful to have since I am hard of hearing and often times I miss what the person is saying and I can always catch up with the help of the Closed Captions. It also helps improves your reading, grammer and English. Please dont leave us "Wishing we could understand what was being said" We all are human, so lets all be equal.
Closed Captioning is a way of life for a lot of people. It is like sign language for television. My brother is deaf and we as a family have come to realize how hard it is for him. Have you ever tried to watch a good movie and have to stop and explain it to a deaf person ? Well until you do, you need to leave close captioning alone. Close captioning is his way too keep up with the world. It is a benefit for everyone. My son learned to read watching the closed captioning on our television. Leave the closed captioning alone. and keep our deaf and hard of hearing community up to date with the world. they deserve it , just like the hearing community. do not deny them access to cc. thank you and godspeed.
I beleive its bit complaint for the deaf and need have with cc support to read for the community and fair for the deaf and hard of hearing people to comfortable with the cc on dvd and VHS hope it support to the Australian and usa aswell thanks regard joanne williams
Yes PLEASE retain the CC! Without it, we'll miss out a whole lot of information. It's our resource to understand what's happening around us!

Closed Caption on dvd movies and tv shows are important to us. I have deaf family include my sister, her hubby and her kids too. And my hubby and I are deaf too. I love to watch tv and dvd movies. Please CC stay on dvd movies and tv.
Hi Please consideration for us, deaf or hard of hearing. We are the same as hearing people.we are human being and need Closed Captioned to read as same as hearing people need to hear. I knew deaf or hard of hearing wouldnt rent DVD we love VHS cuz of Closed Captioned but we prefer DVD cuz of good pictures I appreciate if you support us for Closed captioned on allll DVD or VCR Thank you, Lois Carter
We should all be aware of other peoples disabilities and keep CC for those with such disabilites and then Be thankful that we can hear, so please keep the cc.
My Parents are both deaf. Without CC, they would miss out on so many exciting and educational benefits of CC. I also benefitted from CC when I was growing up, as it helped me to read much sooner than most kids my age.
please contiune to have the cc for dvd, tv shows, anything that are on movies or tv shows. It is the main important for all deaf community. So all Deaf community can understand and feel so comfortable. Thanks

In 1987,I recived a closed caption machene from Pioneer girls of Canada,telephone pioneer corp. I learned a lot since then.. Today I used it for a learning tool for pronouncing and reconizing words,I belive more than 60 thousand Cochlear Implanties,like my self,are doing the same...leave the captions,its doing a lot of good..
My name is Theresa Habekost;deaf at 3yrs,cochlear Implant for 13 years with a recent upgrade to 31 sounds 3 months ago.
I find I still need the closed caption to relearn sound with 9 more sounds to get used to.
T.V. may have an eratic caption system but movies are always done well thanks to real time captioning.

I feel that all movies need to captioned for the Deaf. We encounter no closed captions many rentals even including b-rated movies as well as other lower budgeted films. All films need to be mandated to have closed caption under law not based upon whether a movie is low / medium / high budgeted films / especially christian movies. In addition, the closed captions should interpret all background & music as well especially for hard of hearing that can hear the beat of music and wish to know what the words of the songs are. In addition, more movies at the theater need to be closed captioned at more realistic and days and times (not in the middle of the afternoon & the middle of the week). We have right to watch movies on normal date nights / weekend afternoons like other hearing people. Deaf people have jobs too!!! I urge all to sign and fight for our rights & to educate people on deafness and our needs.
I was deaf for 32 years before getting the Choclear implant. During those years I missed out on understanding Tv and movies due to no Closed Caption. It wasn't until I was in my last year of High School and College that the Closed Caption came out. Since then even now I am able to enjoy tv and DVD without having to bother poeple with the "what's happening" every 2 seconds. The deaf of America and the world deserve to enjoy tv and DVD entertianment as much as the next person. If there can be foriegn languages subtitles, then there should be Closed Caption. Although Closed Caption is "English", it is now being taught as a "Foriegn Lang." Here is something to keep in mind, Closed Caption isn't just for the deaf but for everyone. There are so many shows and news stations that even normal hearing people use the closed caption to make sure they get all the information. It is also a tool to help read. Especially to learn to be a fast reader. Please "Keep the Closed Caption On." Thank you,

pls keep all closed captioned on all movies like dvd , cable tv show , because we can understand what the movies and special report saying like hearing people hear what they are about so pls do that all the time for all deaf and deaf of hard hearing ,, thanks
We need it to keep stay the way closed caption for all station / movies / dvd / video / tv bec it is not fair for hearing ppls can hear this but for deaf can't hear none to understand without c.c.so that why we all must have c.c. for deaf to understand / keep stay forever. I pray that all DVD to have the Closed Captioned. Also I pray for the Christian DVD too because God's word are very important. I've been asking some ministries if they have the Closed Captioned on DVD and they said not yet or no.Some have Closed Captioned. I believe God for this time to have all Closed Captioned for Christian DVD and DVDs. It's very important to all the deaf people and for the people who need to read for the closed captioned. I'm asking that the closed captioned stay in all DVD of Varietys and Christians and also for all the programs on T.V. including Christian channels. God Bless You!
pls keep on cc for all deaf n hard of hearing cuz not fair to hearing which all have volume so where deaf can read so keep cc for deaf ppl .. also abt dvd movies deaf n hearing ppl are same price but if not cc not fair too cuz cant hear at all so cc is part like volume for hearing too.. thanks much remmy pls keep alllll cc on..

Having CC is very important for all of us deaf to read all what the charaters are saying. Please be aware of all the DVDS have CC. In my experience, several rental movies dont come up with cc as they are supposed to be.. We will be appreciated to the people to consider for deaf people to continue reading CC.. Thanks!
