I am in favor of caption on dvd movies.Want to see those dvd movies improve better captioning so we can understand better. Fight for itand have much support for it too
I hope you reconsider the Closed Captioned to keep opening for the deaf people who are enjoyable to watch the DVD movies equally with hearing people. Please treat us the deaf people as the human beings with hearing world. Thank you for the time.

Yes, i think this is going to be a hard thing for the deaf community, they have alsready taken some gov't support from them and now CC. Common now commen sence, u dont expect a hearing person to be interpreting every little thing its on tv. Honest it will be a pain in the rear end for those with hearing lost. If u take CC of anything MOVIES, TV, OR anything that they can relect u will loose a big portion of our community. NO where is freedom of speech, assembely, press towards human kind.
Movie producers should be aware of a big additional profit in captioned movies. It is reported that about 10 perecent of the population in the USA has a hearing loss. That is about 20 milllion hearing impaired people! Oh man!
Without closed captioned and how can we understand them. Are you try telling us to watch without CC. I think you realize that we really need it and very important for us to understand what they saying also it help deaf to develop their reads. You could not rob us like that!!
Closed Captioned is required! Not only for Deaf or Hard of hearing needs it, it can help improve English skills as possible! Communication is the key for everyone to understand!
i think the deaf have every right to be in a theatre. if people don't want to go to the movies because close captioning in on the screen then stay home and wait for the movie to come out on video

I have always enjoyed watching shows, movies or sports with CC on. It's impossible for me to understand what people are saying without CC because I am never able to read lip. I personally think hearing people should turn the sound off and see how they feel without the sound on and then would get idea of how deaf people feel.
I was always one of those weird kids that liked to read what the people on the tv were saying... even though I can hear totally fine! But deaf people deserve this!
You have no right to rob our pleasure and intellectual education from watching DVD's with CC. Are you trying to get us back to prehistoric situation? Remember that we are now in Technology/New Age. We are all intelligent deaf and hard of hearing with human feeling. You can not put us down. Keep to continue closed captioned in order to comply with ADA. Thank you.
Caption it. It's the right thing to do. Besides, it even helps the hearing understand when the actors mumble their dialog, or use bad accents... :)
Everyone deserves to know what's going on in a movie, a television show, or in the news. Without CC, it makes it harder for people to know what's going on. Keep CC!!!
We, the deafies, deserved to enjoy and relaxing while we watch the TV with closed caption. If not for closed caption, the TV shows are boring and not able to enjoy the show. It should keep on forever and ever. We, the deafies, (again) deserved to be part of everything that Hearing people have. Thank for your time.
They cant remove the CC on any tape or DVD but not always all who have no CC I know that but like to have all ..Also downtown threatre they can use CC you know that .. they did not give 100 percent .. I know that .. same at TV program that did not give which I saw this program who has CC but they turn off the CC I know that .. I see many time and no CC make me mad for this .. Honest with you that you know all Business like always gave us CC they pay for this .. I cant remember name of business who always give us to have CC ... susan
Please don't consider removing closed captioning from DVD's. I have spents my whole life as a child of deaf parents and know the value of CC to deaf people. Imagine a dramatic picture book filled with dialogue which is key to understanding the story and conclusion, but one was not able to read. That situstion could be pretty frustrating. So please do not remove CC from movies which we watch in our homes.

Its really Important that all Movies have the closed captioned available. If there isn't any closed captioned, then you would lose all the deaf customers!
Why do you want to pull us(DEAF) back into dark ages so fast again??? We deserve to have a better life like Hearing people. Closed captions increase our insights so fast...without closed captions,it is like that we move on without education in daily deaf life. ...to you(HEARING),if you think that it is necessary to stop or remove closed captions then,please try what it is like to be totally deaf by put your fingers in your ears and try to watch tv news,or movies without closed captions and you will immediately understand that you cant live without closed captions at all. You can always take your fingers out of your ears, but Deaf people have no choice to be deaf or hearing! Please have heart's compassions to deaf people that REALLY need closed captions REAL BADLY!!!!!!! If it does happen to success to remove closed captions then I(TOTALLY DEAF) will feel left out and feel not respected by hearing people who think it is not necessary to have closed captions because they want to save money.....Please dont do that...Please,I beg you to keep closed captions.....if congressmen and senators side with those hearing people who think it is not necessary to have closed captions, then I, a Deaf taxpayer, am a big sucker, because they are not protecting my rights and waste my tax money!!!!!!!! we need keep CC ALL DVD AND VHS i am sick of any special report they dont have CC how i know whats going on and i want all channel have CC on it i dont want waste my time watch tv if no CC on it i want to know what they say and hearing people hear but i dont so pls keep cc forever thank u
Keep CC on 24/7, it is very important for the DEAF & HOH to understand what is all about TV programs, the news, and movies that help us to improvable the english grammars.
