We need the closed captioned to hlep us understand what's going on. why not the movies, tapes, DVD's. Must have it, as we can not be without it on TV. thank you!!!

We need to have Closed Captioned required on all DVD movies because it's very important for all children to learn and watch CC and deaf people need to have it in order to watch movies.

Remember US Constitution clearly defines us as the People so give us the equality. With CC and sound of the dvd movies, the hearing and deaf can able to enjoy the movies. They are our most luxury to relax and enjoy at the homes.

It a must for hearing impairment. I love to watch old movies with cc. If not then I will not rent any dvd or cable or tv. I learns lot of english to improve my signs. Unfair to hearing people who can enjoy the movies, tv and cable.

My Husband is Deaf and CC is a must for him!! We enjoy our "Date" out to the Theaters! and Home movies as well.

It's so hard to rent or buy DVD without closed caption, it is our way of life and learning experience, it helps us to understand what's going on in the real world, why take that away from us, School dont teach everything that's why it helps us to understand and also help us in our daily life when we learn from closed caption. I believe that all DVD Movies must be Close-Captioned.This will give all deaf and hard of hearing persons the ability to understand the movie and thus be able to enjoy watching it just like hearing persons do !!! Also, I believe that all of the Tv News Channels should be close-captioned in it's entirety in Real Time, even when the tv news anchors talk to another co-anchor or guest appearances. Only then will we deaf and hard of hearing will be able to understand be able to laugh when the anchors talk to each other about something funny or interesting !
