We, the undersigned, politely request the resignation of Brian Lee, from his position on the Executive Board of the Blue Square Football League (Football Conference).

The Football Conference has been the subject of many terrible decisions from the Executive Board, which have tarnished the proud reputation of the top tier of non-league football in England.

Incidents such as the points deduction debacle, regular reprieve from relegation of clubs due to the financial irregularities of other clubs, inequitable ground grading demands, mal-administration of player registrations, fixture dis-organisation due to sale of control of fixtures to Setanta TV, poor refereeing standards, and ill-considered statements from the board and Brian Lee in particular, all give credence to the notion of lack of professionalism in the running of the Football Conference.

As Chairman of the Executive Board, Brian Lee must take responsibility for these matters, and should resign with immediate effect.
