I support this petition.
These "boys" committed an adult crime, therefore they should be named
and tried as adults
as well as no bail.
get them off our streets!!!!!
People don't seem to be accountable for their actions anymore. A message needs to be sent to youth that these types of actions will put them in jail. At 16 and 17 years old they know what they've done.
I support this petition. Life is choices, and consequences for those choices - these four chose to (alledegly) wantingly kill and should remain off the streets.
This is as serious as crimes get and it seems like they are being let off the hook already. This is murder. We are not sending much of a message by letting them out
I support this petition. Our justice system is too lax. Even though they have not been convicted yet I believe that letting them out on bail absolutely sends the wrong message to everyone out there.
I support this petition.Young offenders get off way too easily and the sad thing is that they know it, you can tell by the big smiles on their face when they were granted bail and the laughing you could hear from them as they left the court room.
I support this petition. What message does this end to the rest of the teens in our city? There must be consequences for our actions, and our justice system does not convey this message.
I support this petition. How many times have we seen gang violence that has used "minors" in order to get the job done with the least amount of reprocautions? I'm sick of it. Punish them!
I support this petition. Though the justice system will run it's course, it is hard to feel safe on the ETS. It is true that people are innocent until proven guilty however, if they pose a potential threat, get them off the streets.
I support this petition.I have two teenage sons who know the difference between right and wrong.this is because as parents we have made them responsible and accountable for there actions. these boy need to be held accountable for there actions so they to can learn the difference between right and wrong
There are consequences to our actions. The Youth Offenders Act MUST be revamped to reflect the times and irresponsibility of todays society.I totally support this petition.
I support this petition without reservation. Sixteen and 17 year olds are old enough to be held accountable for thier actions. Politically correct terms such as "alleged" and "young offenders" no longer impress me. My condolences to the Conley family, and to the families of these murderers.
We support this petition. Young offenders should be treated the same as adults. This crime was committed and they should be held in custody, not saying this is okay to let them go out on the street until their trials. Once again the victim's family is not considered.
I support this petition. isn't it something that the judiciary system has come to what it is today? people need to be accountable for their actions! they are old enought to comprehend how to beat someone, they are definitely old enough to comprehend the consequences of the act. here is to restoring faith within the community. one day...maybe.. the young offenders act will be ammended to giving power back to the the victim. (but i won't hold my breath)!
I support this petition. Send a message to offenders that they must be held accountable for their horrific deeds and sentences must reflect their crime. They should be put away for a long time so they can do no more harm. They did know it was wrong to kill and should receive life and I don't mean out in a few years.
We support this petition BIG TIME!!! Time for a change to the Young Offenders Act, time for consequences instead of hiding behind the law, time for parents to teach their children right from wrong. Our hearts go out to this mans family :(
I support this petition. My husband and I have a 17 year old son who just doesn't see why these "morons" would do something so low as to hurt another human being. Our son has lots of friends and none of them have ever been in trouble with the law, nor do they drink or do drugs. Our hearts go out to Stefan's family and friends.
I support this petition. MY mom was skeptical about me using ETS before. They dont deserve to have there live DRUNK OR NOT HIGH OR NOT they killed a man they shed the blood and they must live to what they have done, just beacause there coincence ate them and they turned themselfs in does not me we shall grant bail, can me and 3 friends kill them and say we were drunk, and get bail now?? i think not this sends a message to me and my peers that we can get away with anything including murder
