I support this petition. As a parent, it kills me to know that there are kids out in this world doing this. Where have they learned that this is acceptable behaviour? It has become too much of a habit for young offenders to commit these hateful, senseless crimes. What number of offenses and deaths do we have to hear about before the judicial system realizes that the current system needs to be changed? These kids committed a crime that one might expect to hear about from an adult, and thus should be punished to the fullest extent as an adult.

Personally, a member of my family was murdered last year and if and when the authorities find the person(s) responsible, I am expecting that a life sentence will be handed to the sick people that murdered my sister. I think that the family of Mr. Conley has been handed a life sentence and it will always hurt to know that other people savagely took the life of their loved one. Trust me, I know what they are going through. I am wondering what the hell is going on with our justice system and why they are granting murderers the freedom to walk our streets. So they can do it again? My sympathy goes out to the family of Mr. Conely and I hope that justice is carried out in a fair way.
People require to take responsibility for their actions. In this case: You do the crime, you pay the price.

I support this petition. These young adults and others after them need to realize that there must be consequences to their actions, whether they are drunk/stoned or not. The precedent set in the Sherwood Park killing(murder) has made it more difficult for our court system to take a stand. These names need to be published and these young gentlemen need to pay for their actions.
I support this petition totally.If this had been a person the juge knew I can assure you she would have thrown the book at them. What a "crime" in our own justice system. Who would let these kids out on bail? Where are these kid's parents?I'd be embarrassed if that were my kid.
These youths laughed at the system and laughed at their acts as they were in court. They show absolutely no remorse and I will guarantee that they are not respecting the terms of the arrangement. We don't even know who they are, how are we supposed to watch out? The parents didn’t watch out for them before this happened, why should I trust those incompetent nincompoops to do it now? Their offspring did a despicable thing, and now these heartless wastes of skin are free to roam willy-nilly around our city? These monsters do not deserve my pity, they deserve my wrath. As for the funeral costs, I would charge the parents of these animals the full amount - they raised these leeches that are taking up my oxygen and wasting our time.
I support this petition. I feel our justice system has failed the public and it needs to take a harder stance. They should be tried as adults and serve the penalty given to them, there is no way they could not have been fully aware of what they were doing!
I support this petition because I was told that in their initial bail hearing (where they were denied bail) they were quite flip and casual about what they had done...which if we recall, was to beat an innocent bystander to death for no apparent reason whatsoever.
