The randomness of this act, coupled with the extraordinary violence (on public transit) should set a precendent for lack of freedom until trial has been set down.

"innocent until proven guilty" is fine but that doesn't mean that these people should be allowed to roam the streets after turning themselves in. Hold them until they get their fair trial.
I support this petition. "Good Kids" don't kill other people. Most young people today have no respect for people or objects. That is because there is no punishment to deter them. This "justice" system protects the criminal more than the victim, it is time that the government start protecting the victims and their families. Abolish the Young Offenders Act, expose them and subject them to the embarassment of their actions and start imposing jail terms for crimes. They are old enough to do the crime, they can do the time.
I support this petition. It is clear that the actions of the four accused lead to his death. Not only should the bail be revoked, but hopefully this will find it's way to Adult court for certainly they acted with malice and lack of care with regard to another's life. Not the actions of a child or a young offender, but uncaring and cruel young ADULTS. May the brutality of this vicious murder be reflected in their sentences. The waving Yong Offenders act in this Country is itself a weapon used against society in general, and needs to be revised or removed from our judicial system!
