I support this petition. If they can do the cime, than they can do the time. Just because they are teenagers does not excuse them from their actions. Canada has to toughen up on their legal system. Drunk drivers, killers and child molesters only get a few years and then they are out to do it again. Keep them in jail and bring in the death penalty.

I support this petition. And where were the parents in all of this. In my eyes the parent's are just as guilty. I understand the need for parents to protect their children, but If your son/daughter is guilty or charged with murder, and is in fact guilty, what does that say about you as a parent? Letting your children hide behind a faulty joke of a law, what does that say about your morals? These kids should be tried as adults, and shouldn't be allowed out on bail, where the chances of this happening again are high.

What determines a "young offender"? We are accepting that 14 year olds are responsible enough to drive a vehicle and yet claim they are not responsible for killing someone. A child knows from the paddles they get from their parents, what is right and what is wrong. Why do they deserve freedom for taking someone's life? I support this petition. In this specific case, these four youths should be remanded. They have demonstrated, through beating a man to death, that they should not be "free-on-bail". This is an insult.

I am a 17 year old male and I think that these 4 young teens should be prosecuted as adults. If we think that by putting a security guard on every bus is going to solve that problem….we are only costing the city more and that is not the solution. I think that by sending these men to jail and showing them that what they did can not go unpunished, it would send out a stronger message to everybody. If you commit an act like this, you WILL NOT get away with it! THEY KILLED A MAN…THAT’S WHAT THEY DID!

Contrary to the beliefs of the killer's friends, they are definitely not "good guys", and should pay for thier brutal actions and not be let out scot free like they have been. I keep hearing that they were let out because our justice system works in a way where the accused are innocent until proven guilty, but in this specific case, they are definitely guilty, confessed and also had 15 witnesses to this murder, how could they possibly have any chance of being innocent?????? Our justice system is a joke! No matter what sentence these punks get they will be out in a fraction of the time anyway to do something like this again!
