I support this petition. These young Men need to understand the seriousness of their crime. For their friends to say they made a "mistake" is SUCH an understatement. These young men kicked a man to death. That was not a mistake. These young men also did not think of how their inconsiderate actions affected the other passangers. They need to pay the consequences.

You seem to get less time if you kill someone than if you steal! Whats with that! Maybe if we brought Capital Punishment back there would be less of these stupid crimes. It seem to escalate more and more if we think back years ago when you where aloud to discipline your children and teach them respect there was not half the crap going on that there is now!! But oh we are not allowed to discipline the little darlings! because they can report you for teaching them morals and respect!!!

I felt safe on public transit knowing if anything happened they wouldn’t get away with it, someone would see, something would be done and this knowledge would detour this sort of thing. If they let them out before trial the transit system will feel just as freaky as the vacant downtown street I walk on my lonesome 6 am stroll to work.
As a victim of attempted murder, my offender never left the system from the minute he was arrested until he was given parole following his tprison term. Why should it be any different for these offenders? Because I lived - no bail? Because Mr. Conley was not so lucky - offenders walk the streets?
