Those four cowards need to go to prison for life. They know exactly what they were doing. They were trying to kill someone so that they would have something to brag about, and they were counting on their "young offender" status to get them off scot-free.
i support this petition because teens are not above the law, you kill someone, you go to jail, simple as that! i dont care if they're young and have their lives ahead of them, they murdered someone in cold blood. I support this petition. I really have no kind words for those punk kids, their supporters including their lawyers. This is just another example of how our justice system is disappointing us. How many more of these horrific crimes have to be commited before something is changed?

Lower the age so young offenders can be named and charged as adults when they do such heinous crimes. Whoc an feel safe riding the bus when they have no way to stop these "kids" from riding again.

I really support this petition. The young offenders act needs revision. People of all ages need to be accountable for their actions. A man has lost his life. Does this not count for anything? It there no value assigned to his worth?
I support this petition. I hear this morning (22nd March 2006) that
council for the defence of the young men who perpetrated this heinous crime, will enter a plea of NOT GUILTY to the charge of manslaughter. I agree! All four of them should be charged with MURDER! Anyone of us with an ounce of common sence must agree that any lesser charge will prove to be a gross miscarriage of justice. "Justice" - now there's a novel concept, eh?
I also support this petition. Me and my friends have also been the victims of young offenders who are not punished for their crimes. Many returned to their homes to victimize someone else.
I support this petition. I live with my sister and two nieces, ages 14, and 19. We all believe this was an act of youth with no concience. An all too common thing today. Something has to be done, and making an example out of these ones may be a start.
