Letting them out on bail sends the wrong message. Murder is murder and they should be behind bars, regardless of age or "circumstance". Young offenders get off to easy in this country!!!
Clearly this was preventable. The actions of these drunk boys is in no way acceptable and should be treated as such. Leting them out on bail gives them a easier time until there court case.. however if under the influence they are capable of murder then whats to say it cant happen again while on bail.
I support this petition. I am 17 myself, and I do not consider intoxication as an excuse for one's actions. Just because they are not legal adults, they know not to murder. They should be held responsible for their actions.
This was horribe. Its obvious Edmonton is full of young thugs. We should have the right to carry weapons to protect ourselves. Our police are useless and well bus drivers are all cowards!! We should also bring back the death penality for these kids.
I support this petition because there are too many young offenders committing crimes and going scott free. The youth of today should realize their actions and there should be an equal punishment. Also, living in constant fear of being killed by kinds is not great for some people.

I support this petition. When I was a boy there were concequences for your action and we were scared of those consequences. These boys/men need to understand and pay for thier actions. Someone's father, brother, son, husband, etc will not be comming home any more why should they? We need to feel safe and trust our government will take action when someone is wrong. These boy need to pay by going to jail, plain and simple
I was supremely disgusted with this random act of violence that led to a needless death, to release those punks back into society with a joke of a bail is an insult to EVERY CANADIAN and especially to the family of the victim (Will Conley). I personally have never been more ashamed of our legal system then at this moment.
I think they should go to jail what they did! They is a chance they could do it again. And i doin't thnk it should matter what age they were they KILLED some one if they were old enough to do that they are old enough to go to jail for what they did.
I support this petition. They randomly and brutally killed Will. People who commit these primal types of acts WILL do so again, whether it be at the hand of peer pressure or pure individual drive. They need to be removed from society and never allowed to reproduce. We need to clean up the gene pool a little.No slaps on the hand.
Is it any wonder why our country is in the state it's in when there are NO concequences for the actions people (young & old) take!!! Killing someone today just means the accused gets free room & board for a FEW years.
