Our justice system no longer protects the innocent unfortunately, rather it favours the criminals. No wonder the youth today have no fear.
I lost my niece Sara Easton last October to the same sort of voilences. It's time to let the communities of the city to take some actions. My thought's are with the Conley family.
I support this petition and agree with Cam Munro (signed above). Letting wrongdoers and esp those who commit such heinous crimes walk free or "pay lightly" for their crimes is not doing any good to the society. It only makes them think they can always get away with their actions.This then enables the would-be crime doers to manipulate and outdo the justice system by playing the cards to their advantage! Let's do something to STOP CRIME and let the public know that they is heavy consequences to be faced when crime is committed!!

I support this petition. Violence should never ever be tolerated no matter the age, gender or history of the person - these people are animals - violence is STILL a crime and a CRIME is Still against the Law and the law should punish them to its full extent.

I support this petition. But the blame has to be placed on the judges, not the system. the lightest sentences are being handed out in the last few years due to "crowding" in the Remand Ctre. I see that the judges should be held more accountable for thier actions (or non-actions), and let the Police do thier jobs with out such unbelievable political decisions overruling them. Maybe, just maybe a little over-crowed stay in jail might help "adjust" these individuals to take the right path!
I support this petition. Group violence and 'swarming' are premeditaded acts used to initiate individuals through proving there loyalty to the group there interested in being a part of. age is not a factor when the act is malicious and the individuals involved should be punished as adults.
