I do NOT support the revoking of bail this petition is calling for. If these teens are not given bail, they will serve a TINY insignificant sentence if found guilty at trial due to the time spent in remand awaiting the case (could be one or two YEARS from now). Keep them out and and then lock them away for a long long time if they are guilty.
Even though these people are innocent until proven guilty, there are enough witnesses to know that these four were involved and should be held until the trial.
I support this petition though I understand how bail works. In this situation I disagree with the accused(s) getting bail as it only serves for them to be out in public, bragging to their friends and appearing "cool" in their peer group. Do the crime do the time!

There are not even words to describe how strongly I feel about this. they have MURDERED an innocent man. This ought to be an example, we can't continue to allow people to behave this way in our society and get away with taking the life of another person.
I use edmonton transit on a daily basis, and witness students using drugs and alcohol at bus terminals at least once a month, i have also witnessed violence at buss terminals amongst students, I think it is an outrage that this generation is literally getting away with murder. The fact that this judge set these four murderers free on a no cash bond is telling society that there is little consquence to the actions of todays youth.

I support this petition. This kids go to my sisters high school - so instead of peer pressure I have to worry that my sister may get killed because they let these f*ckers out?? Not cool.
I support this petition on behalf of my nephew. I am concerned that there has been a huge psychological pay-off for one or two of the kids who killed him, what with incarceration, lawyers, multiple hearings and bail. The system currently feeds the narcissism and aggression of sociopathic kids such as the one who blew kisses in court. Now that teen has "bragging rights," and the danger he poses to society may well be higher than it was before.
There is sometghing seriously wrong with our justice system when 4 murderers are rooming the streets free. They should be all tried as adults. See if they like diong 20 years of hard time.
