Yet another example of protecting the rights of the offenders. What about our rights to a safe living environment? A slap on the wrist for taking a man's life in a brutal beating...what is it going to take to change our mickey-mouse justice system???

I also wish to thank the media for having the courage to let normal folks have their say and finally have a way to be heard. People should have the right to be free from verbal and physical abuse and violence while going about their regular, law-abiding activities in our own communities. Those who have no regard for the lives of others and act upon their selfishness by inflicting violence and death on another don't deserve to remain in our society. The Justice System needs to work for our common good and not allow these dangerous individuals out on bail until or unless they come up with a better solution. These violent offenders , although labelled "young offenders", are going to age and become "violent offenders" if the Justice System continues in the way that it is headed.
I support this petition.The Young Offenders Act is a big joke and should have been changed a long time ago. Hopefully our new government will do something. Young offenders have no respect and regards for anyone.

If White is back in Jail why are these youths allowed to be walking free. What's the difference. If you do the crime then be prepared to serve the time. Drunk, Sober, High or otherwise.
I support this petition. It is very appalling that these youths are so cavalier about what they have done. They have murdered another human being. They should be in jail. It's very disgusting that they are free on bail. I also agree that their faces and names should be plastered all over the television and the newspapers. The young offenders act is a big joke and I hope that our new government is going to do something about it and very soon. The people of this country want a change, we have said so many times and we want it changed now. If these kids would be punished so that it is not a cake walk maybe they would think twice before they murder anyone.
