I support this petition. Children need to be taught at home and in society to respect others, listen to their elders, behave themselves properly in public, use self control.
I support this petition. Changes to the Young Offenders Act must be given serious consideration in light of the mind set that many youth have today - that they are untouchable. Regardless of age any human being needs to reminded that there are consequences for the choices that they make - especially when they affect others.
I support this petition. What steps would be taken to keep them off the streets if it were an adult that committed this crime. If anything there should be more extensive steps being taken BECAUSE they are minors. They have CHOSEN to begin their adult years with murder. If our justice system was strict enough THAT would have been a deterent. In countries where they amputate your hand for theft, they have very few theft issues.
