Where are the consequences??? Unless something is done, this WILL happen again - different place, different situation, but the same results - GUARANTEED!!! Next time, it could end up being the relative of a politician, then we might get some action. Let's hope we don't have to wait. Murder is not a petty crime, there shouldn't be a petty outcome!
I support this petition. This was an act of cold blooded murder; these MEN are 16 and above and should be treated as what they are: adults who decided to kill a man and did so. It's disturbing that they should be released, conditionally or otherwise.

I support this petition. just because they are youths does not mean they did not know or relize the backlash of there actions, and if they truely did not know the difference between right and wrong then they most certainly should be sent somewhere away from society, because those actions at any age are unacceptable.

I support this petition. Unless the government abolishes the Young Offenders Act, the trouble youth will never learn to be accountable for their actions. With the youth crime rising and the brutality of the crimes, tougher laws have be implementated. More programs have to be set up for these trouble teenagers to avoid them from committing crimes in the future.

I support this petition. Time for our politicians to listen to the general public! I don't want the Young offenders act scraped, but at least lower the age to 14. I knew at 14 right from wrong and I am no genious. Kids now at the age of 14 know "their" rights are the ones protected and can walk away from most crimes with a slap on the wrist until the age of 18??? Lets get these "kids" in jail. and give the family some closure... something that young offender's victims seldomly get. My sympathy to the family
