I support this petition. I wonder how the Judge that made this decision would feel if it was his son that was brutally kicked & beaten until he died! There doesn't seem to be any good reason to let these teens out of jail until their trial. Being young offenders is not a reason to not be accountable for their actions! Being intoxicated is not a reason to not be accountable for their actions!

I support this petition. Even a small child at two knows its wrong to hit another. These boys knew what they were doing and should be tried as adults. Instead they are "hiding" behind the young offenders act in hopes of getting a slap on the wrist because the law views them as children. I THINK NOT!!!

We have to let these boys know that this act was sensless and unappologetic and could have been prevented. For the demonstration of a complete lack of remorse, they deserve punnishment to fullest extent of the law. I think Albertans should have a right to know who these punks are. I believe they should scrap the Youngs offenders act. They don't deserve to be out on bail and there parents should also be held accoutable for this senseless act of violence. Throw them all in Jail.
I support this petition. Furhtermore, these four gentlemen should be tried as adults. Collectively they made a decision to end an innocent mans life. A bullet would have been more humane, sadly, this man was kicked to death.
