I support this petition. I can't believe our justice system could be that blind and not make these teenagers pay for what they have done. They should not go UNPUNISHED!
I support this petition. This was a callous and cruel act. It is sad that in this day and age, people who commit small crimes like theft get more time and harsher sentences then those who commit violent uncalled for acts of extreme violence against an individual. Regardless of the reason it was and always will be wrong both morally and legally wrong. The sentence certainly should have been stiffer and those adolescents should not have been released at any point. It is now showing them that they are not accountable for their actions and get to continue living their lives while a family has to suffer the grief of a loved one lost! It makes me sad that my children are growing up in this day and age, and see this.
I support this petition. A couple of points, I am very concerned about our judicial system that makes a decision to release the persons responsible for this crime. I do not beleive this represents what our society values. Further, these individuals must bear the responsibility for their actions. They made an informed decision. My sincerest condolences to Mr Connellys family.

I support this petition 100 %. I first of all want to personally thank the person for putting this petition together for a man who is no longer with us. My condolences to the family of Mr. Conley. Second I'd like to address the judge, What in the name of the Lord is wrong with you? Obviously you can't think. Big mistake you made in granting bail. Then I'd like to address these MURDERS . You did a horrific selfish act in murdering an inocent man. No one can deal with that much shame. Not even your family which I might add you have ruined. You have not only ruined your family but also your future. My only hope is that a " real" judge will look at you and make the wise choice in revoking your bail and putting you all away for life since you have no respect for life. like they say and eye for an eye. You lost out, your time will come when your judged by God and then you will have your time in hell. Sorry but it's my opinion.
I support this petition. I believe that people need to realize that there are consequences for there actions and I don't think alot of these young people understand this and we are giving them the wrong message by letting them out on bail.
I support this petition. I don't even know why these young offenders were only charged with manslaughter when they should have been clearly charged with at least 2nd degree murder. The judges are totally out of touch with reality

I support this petition. I find it very disturbing in our day and age that a judge would grant bail to these boys. This is not stealing a candy bar from the store. It is actually MURDER. They should be charged as such and not be granted bail. What has this world come to?. We need to have parliment take note in what is happening and to step in a nd protect the citizens of Edmonton, by showing their faces. They wanted to drink ( which is not an excuse to murder) but at the age of the boys these teens I'm sure were not only into drinking but other things to. I can only imagine if they have the ignorance to blow the girls kisses in a courtroom what disrespect. I'm sure that is not all these girls have BLOWN these boys. They to should get punished for disrespect
I support this petition.I happen to agree with # 7044. The justice system can revoke Mr. White's bail based on his community , what about an entire city. GET THEM OFF THE STREETS. I also have to question there parentas role in teaching them anything like the difference between right and wrong. It makes me sick the way they behave in the courtroom and the fact that these parents have to live with the monsters they have created. Where were they and how can they think " these BOYS were good kids? I don't think so....maby they need to go to jail and pay for Mr. Conley's funeral expenses as well. They are not the victims here. Sorry you are just as responsible as the boy's. I'd be totally ashamed of them son's or not!!!

Let's get things straight, 4 youth's go out and kill an inocent man,then some judge gives them bail, with the freedon to eat and play games at home , watch T.V., are they allowed to attend sxchool too? Where actually is this so called Justice system in this couintry? These teens knew well that if you kick someone hard enough , What they wouldn't die? come on folks get real. They need to be in jail with a sentence of 25 yrs and no parole and then no TV, No calls, No family visits or friends allowed to come either. They did this to a family and a guy that is no longer alive. SHAME ON YOU JUDGE, BAD decision, and in case you boys are checking this website, I hope they give you more than you deserve I hope you make it to Jail and let another inmate kill you for he won't get any more punishment then he is already getting. I strongly support this petition and I'm all for an example to be made of those 4 delinquents. Our justice system is a joke and it's long past due for an overhaul. Just think, if this happened to a family member of the powers that be, heads would roll!
