Its PAST time that this judicial system REALIZES the error of their ways, and CORRECTS the matters, not only for youths, but also other lawbreakers for which there is NO REHABILITATION!
I do not support this petition. A quick Google search on this case shows there's a publication ban on evidence, and no references to these kids laughing or high-fiving as has been written. The judge in this case knows the facts; we don't. Revoking bail will not bring Stefan back, and when the case returns to court justice will be done.

if what I heard is true that these kids we'ren't exactly pillars of the community and we're out on parole or probation already, it makes a mockery of our legal system and ultimately our legal system to watch murders walk the streets

If you put those kids in prison, you will take away their lives. You can't bring back Conley now. What good does it do to put the kids in prison? You just want revenge. Clearly this was an accident. The kids were just defending themselves from an unprovoked attack by Conley. He grabbed a kid by the throat. Those kids committed no crime. I believe that people have a right to defend themselves.

I was charged with an impared when I was 16 and got a harsh penalty and jail time - are you telling me I can KILL someone and get away free, yet I drink and drive and get sent to jail? The young offenders act didn't matter in my case, why should it matter in this case where DEATH was an outcome?? Come on courts, do what is right and stop making yourself look like a joke!

I support this petition. I too would liket ot know what has happened to our justice systmem in the fact that children, and teens should not be diciplined or set straight anymore. I am sure that when we were teens if we would have thought of doing this the punishment at home would have been way worse then any government will ever dish out.

I think the young offenders act should be gone, if they are old enough to do the crime then they should be treated like adults and have this follow them right into adulthood, it should not go away when they turn of age. I support this petition 100% because Stefan Conley does not get a second chance, does he? Also, teenagers are desenitized by the media and videogames. Is it acceptable for four teenagers to beat someone to death and then say, "Oh, they are only kids?" I think not. They have to understand that there is consequences for their actions. Bottom line.
