I support this petition. Friends of the individuals accused were interviewed and stated that their friends were "not bad people. They didn't mean for this to happen." Each and every one of those individuals is a young MAN, not child. They cannot possibly be ignorant to action and consequence. To the difference between right and wrong. They decided to take a man's life into their hands, and now their's should be put into the hands of the judicial system, as adults. This crime was not an accident. These are disturbed individuals who need to be rehabilitated and dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

I support this petition. I do not feel that they should have a conditional release because DEATH is a serious matter. They killed someone and giving them a slap on the wrist is not going to help. I support this petition. I think these so called "good people" by their peers need a huge awakening. They need to be taught right from wrong and should be punished for their wrong doing and that means many, many years of jail time.To bad we don't have the death penalty here for such a vicious crime that they have committed. Our legal system needs a huge overhaul.

I support this petition. By the way, the Young Offenders Act is no longer in effect, It is the Youth Criminal Justice Act. This act does have the potential to help youth who are guilty of minor offences, I do however agree that murder should be treated as an adult offense. The act itself is not the problem it is the judges interpretation of it. Remember that most violent crime is committed by males aged 18-25 so the new act doesn't apply to them anyway.

And since when did being drunk underage, and then murdering a man, means that you can walk away and sleep in your own bed? This situation is sickening and leaves me having not trust or faith in the justice system.

Why is it that every time a kid does something seriously wrong everyone around him says "But he's a good kid!" I support this petition. We need to change the laws pertaining to the young offenders act. Simple if you murder someone in cold blood then you should have no priveleges. No excuses of intoxication or under the influence. There bail should be revolked immediatley and they should be charged to the full extent of the law.

there are way too many kids getting bail these days. i know first hand the dangers of drunken teenagers who want to look for a fight, and if they want to drink (im not sure that is the only drug they were on) irresponsibly, they shouldnt drink at all, and our legal drinking age supports that. however if they wont abide by those rules and want to drink like adults they should face the consequences of their drunken actions.

The only thing that is sicker than these kids, is a judge that allowed them to come back and live in my neighbourhood.
Why don't we find out who these so called "nice boys" are so we can force them to live on that judge's street.
