I support this petition 1000000000000000%. Young offenders or not you do the crime you do the time. And what is going on in this world today they were drunk? They didnt mean to do it? Ok so I drive home drunk and kill someone I didnt mean to do it I was just drunk.. No sorry it doesnt work that way its NOT an excuse.
I unfortunately do not support this petition.I am still trying in vain to support our justice system. They are our youth and it takes a whole village to raise a child so in our society we all shoulder some of the blame.
I support this petition. What these kids did to that man makes me feel like it could happen to me and makes me feel unsafe to take the transit any longer, that is why I am buying a car, forget about the enviroment, my safety and that of my family comes first!
I support this petition. If we start making children responcible for what they have done at an early age then maybe that will deter others from the same.
I support this petition. We need change. The Young Offenders Act needs to be changed to realistically reflect ACCOUNTABILITY, our social mores need to be changed back to a level of "this type of behaviour is unacceptable in our society". Whatever it takes to ferment and bring about these changes is worth standing up for, including this petition. As for the nay sayers here (so called "Wayne G...", "King R...", etc.) — make serious proposals, don't just spit on this young man's grave and his grieving family from the sidelines. Has our society learned nothing in the 40+ years since Kitty Genovese?
I support this petition. The young offenders act protects these kids and they take advantage of that fact. We are all born with morals and know right from wrong, don't let them hide behind the "Act" but change it. This man is dead, no longer able to enjoy the life he knew, why should these young adults be given that opportunity rather than being punished. Punish them to the full extent of the law.....which is not saying much.
I support this petition. The rights of society MUST be recocnized and valued once again. Yes , people acussed of crime have rights, but we as individual members of society also have rights and we have not forfeited them by commiting a crime, especially murder.
I support this petition. And to# 8342(Wayne Gretzky, whats wrong to cowardly to print your REAL name?)A signature on a petition does not a vigilante make.Right is right and wrong is no man's right.
I support this petition. It is about time we realised that the Human Rights does nothing but help the perpetrators not the innocent. Judges are a joke and lawyers have to tread on egg shells because of the wongdoers rights. Adult court is where they should be tried
I support this petition. Enough is Enough, who do these little beggars think they are..... they are NOT children.. they should be charged as ADULTS... to smirk and laugh in the face of justice deserves satisfaction from all. Throw away the key!!!
I do not support this petition. To what end do you vigilantes think that an Internet petition will develop? If you have arrived here to vent, then I understand. Vent away...go ahead let it all out...there. Doesn't that feel better.
I support this petition.Having shown no respect or dignity towrds society the 4 accused must be held fully responsible for their crime. Not being able to control their actions the first time whose to say what would happen the next time especially if not punished.
