I support this petition. One millon no on billon percent I support this. Edmonton nice safe place to live um ya ok......If you're old enough to think up and do the crime, you're old enough to do the time!!!!
I support this petition-I firmly believe that people should have to take responsibility for their own actions. These kids should never have been let go in the first place.
You godamn Right I support this. Like wat the hell are we even being asked such a question Or we are just led to beleive that. "ya come to Edmonton where you can do whatever the hell you want and we Don't give a single care in the world what you do, cause we'll let yoooouuuu GOOOOOO! We together, the people of edmonton and decent! people around WE DON'T THINK SO !!! GOD help us of otherwise (seroulsy)
I support this petition. A precedent was set when a petition was submitted in the Michael White case and he was put back in jail. This should also be the case for these 4 teenagers who it can be proven killed someone.
I support this petition. We shouldn't wonder what happened to our justice system, we need to finally wake up and look at the condition of our lives. These boys are a product of their environment and the judges are responsible for allowing our judicial system to be so lax. Let us take a closer look at WHY our kids are turning on society...Let's look in our own backyards. WAKE UP CANADA!!!
It was an irresponsible act of violence that ended in the taking of someone's life. Those boys need to be disciplined and understand the severity of their actions!
I support this petition. I watched the news after one of the court appearances and one of the female friends stated "it was just a accident". No one gets beaten to death by accident. Just shows that some people have no clue.....
Those boys need to grow up. What better way then to put them in jail with all the other bad (ADULTS). If they think there tough now, wait till jail gets to them. These boys (little boys) are just a bunch of COWARDS and deserve what will be coming to them.
I support this petition.
It is outrageous that these youths were released after committing such a horrific act. They have been quoted to have said "Sorry about the mess," while getting off the bus, they knew what they did, and even worse they made a cruel remark immediately afterwards.
I support this petition.Unjustified violence against anyone is untolerable. These kids knew exactly what they were doing as I knew at 17 right and wrong. If you can drive at 16 a 5000lb machine you surely know how to control your own body.
I support this petition. Its about time that this country stops being soft on crime. And the slaps on the wrists of young offenders is ridiculous. And lastly, shame on the bus driver and those 15 or so passengers who sat back like scared rabbits and didn't try to help Will Conley against those unarmed teenage punks!
I support this petition. The economy might be booming but Alberta is going down hill. Its scary to walk around downtown Edmonton because any one of us might be the next random victim. There is no excuse, no pardon, for what these offenders have done. Young or not, they knowingly broke the law. Letting them off the hook sends a message to everyone else in Alberta. That message says: "We think you shouldn't break the law, but if you do, we'll probably let you off the hook". Is this the message we want to send?
I support this petition. There is no justification for allowing these individuals to roam free. If they are proven innocent, they will recieve freedom then, and they can pay the price of short term imprisonment for their involvement alone in this inncident.
I would much rather see a change to the Young Offenders Act so we could at least know who these 4 are so we could have a choice as to whether to get on a bus or not if they are on it.
