I support this petition. People should be help responsible for there actions. The kids that have done this horible act should be sent to jail for a very long time. I do not agree with them getting bail of any sort.

A good passive-aggressive way to share one's power because the world in itself misuses its power; not only those with power, but those who have rights (voters, etc.) We should never ignore or be passive of the corruption that runs amock in the world because it affects you too (directly or indirectly). The justice system in this country is SEVERELY flawed! These days it is better to KILL someone than to rob, beat or molest someone. Apparently if you KILL, you'll get out a few days later, get a slap on the wrist and do minimal time. Meanwhile, the robbers and molestors get years and years of doing time. The true loser to this tragedy, as in all crimes involving young offenders, is our Canadian Society. Unfortunately, their identities are protected from community recognition in belief the children will grow into law-abiding adults.I suggest this thinking is outdated or perhaps incomplete. Let the law-breakers face their victims to physically and financially understand the results of their action. Let the criminals sit amongst their peers, relatives and community elders to hear what people think of them now and how they will be treated by the public. I believe strongly too, that law-makers should be responsible for better
'preventative' punishment. If these youngsters had more gruelling penalties, they would be less likely to walk down the road of criminal activity.
