I am signing this petition as this is not for me it is for Cullen. I wanted to tell everyone that has signed so far and those who will sign in the future thank you. Cullen has healed so much from your comments as we check them everyday and he reads them. It's me now who feels like a failure I have been written up, degraded, threatened and now I have a bunch of upper level managment gunning for my job because I love my son from day one all I wanted was an opportunity to tell this employee in a safe environment that she hurt Cullen with what she said and an appology but I am never going to get that in fact I see now I will be unemployed real soon as the pressure they are applying is far too much for one human being to handle and the funny thing is I did not do or was not accused of anything I asked to file a complaint because she called my son a nigger and look where it got me? On the way out the door and a formal, permanent repremand and she got nothing even though they admitted to me that my allegations were neither PROVEN OR DISPROVEN just like my mom always said actions speak louder than words they do not care they know what she said but what's the big deal?
I certainly hope that man gets fired. Nobody has any right to mention that to a 7-year old or any person with dark skin. Even though I am white, I very strongly believe racism is wrong. I very much hope you win this fight.

The thing that sticks upmost in my mind is that you are raising a black child who has a problwm being black so much so that he crys at the thought of it. Black men have enough issues to worry about and self esteem shouldn't be one of them. Try dealing with that first.

I'd also like to say that for such a pinhead, it is confusing... we see all the time, black people use the word "nigger" on each other... I can believe the statements that you are making are true. I have also experienced a situation with my company and nothing was done to solve the problem. It was not the same type of scenario but it was a racial issue. There was an investigation but nothing happened. Black people are still fighting for their rights.

I am a black woman and single papent. The word "nigger" is not used in my household. It is and will always be a racial slur towards blacks. I have tought my chidren this because I don't want them refering to each other thinking it's cool or a nick name. The word NIGGER should be seen for what it is and that only. No child should be refered to as "one".

This may not be legal, but if you have any other meetings with your employer about this matter, make sure that you have a pocket recorder and record everything they say.
Mental stress is or can be a Worker"s Comp., issue when as a result of workplace issues/injuries these kinds of things take place. I do not know if you contacted an attorney, but you should...several that practice in Worker's Comp, Job discrimination/harassment , and civil matters.
