The japanese version off both the films are way better there more freaky and the girl coming out off the tv looks way scarier and the grudge is great as well the two americain versions are crap.

I think I would say The Ring.. Because it has a movie after.. And it is way better... Like The Grudge, it is just fake.. Unlike the Ring.. Or the Ring 2!

the ring was a better story but the grudge was scarier. i tend 2 go 4 scarier but they really were as good as each other.
