I have bought, do buy, and will continue to buy ONLY HD-DVD as it is the format that is TRULY best for the consumer. I just purchased a stand alone HD-DVD player today from Toshiba to work alongside my x-box 360 add-on. Will send a proof of purchase if requested!
I have and will continue to purchase HD DVD movies, I will never purchase a BluRay disc. If HD DVD goes away, I will simple go back to regular DVDs and let my HD dvd player upscale them
HD DVD has an interactive standard that is availaible since day one. The new profil 1.1 on third generation only with blu-ray to match the performance of HD DVD. By moving to Blu-ray only Warner is saying to us HD DVD owner that they don't care and we are not in the balance. The fact that they were neutral was good for both format and for costumers HD DVD must survive and all studio should make their movies in both format period no more exclusivity this is what kill the HD format
It's a disgrace that corruption is deciding this war and not the consumer.sony controlling all content, is the same as having a fox in charge of the hen house!
TO THE COMPANIES THAT ARE BACKING BLU-RAY, PLEASE STOP SELLING YOUR SOULS FOR MONEY!! YOU ARE HURTING US!! HD-DVD IS THE BEST CHOICE OUT THERE, YOU WENT AND ALIGNED YOURSELF WITH SONY = THE EVIL EMPIRED WHO HAVE
I can not see the point in loosing one third of the market. HD DVD is a finished format and BlueRay is going to take at least another 9 months finish... if it is then.
