I have the funds to purchase either HD format..Blu Ray does NOT impress me, HD DVD is what I now own, and want to purchase disney films on HD. Don't repeat Disney's mistake with Divx in the late 1990's-support both or none at all!
HDi is a far superior Interactive Platform, and standard in ALL HD-DVD players. BD-Java is not standard and different implementations are already causing issues.
my family and I are huge disney and pixar fans and believe that HD DVD is already staking its claim as the winner of the high def revolution. i am getting an XBOX 360 HD-DVD add on in a few weeks and have no need or want for the lesser quality BluRay money sucker.
because sony having a foothold in any market is a bad thing, also how many other of sony's proprietry formats have prevailed, stop throwing bad money at blu-waste
I personally don't care if disney supports hd dvd or not, because disney just isn't what it use to be, but many people love disney, and it would make a great impact on people who buy hd dvd players if disney supports them.
I support this petition because Don't lose out on customers!
HD-DVD got better pic and sound quality than Blu-ray, and I didn't even mention the Hybrid HD-DVD and DVD.
You know, American want cheaper product, then you can make profit w/ Quantity and Quality "It's a Win Win Stituation!"
I want HD content and I want it now. I'm not here to wait until BD players dropped in price, I'm not here to wait until BD get their acts together.
In order to get HD content NOW, the only format that delivers is HD-DVD
I'm not usually an early adopter of new technology, but I purchased a Toshiba HD-A1 based on it's objectively superior approach to HD. Most, if not all, future DVD purchases I make will be in the HD-DVD format. This is simply an additional revenue stream opportunity.
