Dear H. Lee Scott Jr., CEO/President, WalMart:

Natalie Maines, lead singer of the Dixie Chicks, calls George W. Bush "a dumb f%#*" in their latest anti-American venture, a film entitled "Shut Up and Sing," which recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.

As Americans, they are free to express their opinions as they see fit.

However, they have a very public bully pulpit; a venue from which they can spew their filth, and we do not.

Therefore, as concerned Americans, we ask that you uphold your company's commitment to family values and pull their media products from your shelves immediately.

It is not our intention to silence the Dixie Chicks, but rather, to make our voices heard as American consumers who are tired of having so-called 'celebrities' shove their profane opinions down our throats.

Thank you.

Sincerely;

You people are a bunch of cowards, afraid of finding out just how ignorant you are. It is interesting how the I support this option is greyed out. Wouldn't want to give people a choice, would we!

its not a personal or right to speak your mind, but more that we are americans and the fact that the president is a reflection of the majority, dem or rep i feel that to open the forum through music where the young and future of the country develope their opinions that will have an effect for the rest their lives, a little more thought and restraint is needed. i disagree with a great many things we as the united states do and project, but if i had the influence the women have i would attempts to educate rather than hurl stones and let someone else clean the glass.
