You know...If given the choice between watching a well scripted television drama or watch Ashton Kutcher be a douchebag, either I would pick the first choice, or I would smash in Ashton Kutchers face with a tire iron. In fact, I think this petition should be about the should be mutilation of any thoroughbred white trash that has somehow worked their way into the public eye through their own remarkable idiocy. I mean honestly, the only reason Kutcher made his way into the media was that upon seeing him, the producers of "that 70's show" couldn’t pass up the chance to typecast him for his uncanny stupidity. Its a shame we didnt get rid of him earlier. I mean, it wouldn’t have been hard either. All you would have to do is to drive to LA and look for the white kid with a trucker hat.
Though, I can't say I wouldn’t be remorseful for taking Ashton Kutcher away from the world. We would have lost such gems as "My Bosses Daughter", and who can forget that timeless masterpiece, "Dude, Where's My Car?" I can't remember which scene it was, weither it was the one were Ashton mistook a Ostrich for a Llama, or that unforgetable timeless father-son moment were the father and son adored an upskirt view of a five story tall Jodi Ann Paterson's pantyline, but at some point in that film, I became instantly enlightened and for a moment became one with god.
Sweet and stupid may work well for puppies and drunken babies (long story), but on humans, sweet is quickly forgotten as stupid becomes all to apparent. All in all, I would have to give Ashton Kutcher a 4 out of 5 stars, simply because his incompetence as a human being never ceases to amaze me.
Don't cancel, this show is great! It would be a huge mistake to cancel it, this show has so much potential. Great cast, orginal story, great great great!
I am saddened by the decision to cancel The Black Donnellys. I think it is an extremely well written and well directed show. In addition, the cast members were well chosen and play their roles quite nicely. Notably the narration by Keith Nobbs and the emotionally torn character played by Jonathan Tucker. It is a show that has hooked me from the first episode. Please do not cancel the show.
I'm really enjoying this show so far and hope it can continue. It's unlike anything else on tv right now, in my opinion. It's beautifully shot and wonderfully acted and incrediably dramatic and intense, but also FUNNY. So, I really really hope it's ot cancelled.
Are you kidding me NBC? Please DO NOT cancel this show. We are riveted every time we watch it. Canceling it would be a great injustice to its many fans.
This show had potential; I feel as though it is just a victim to its timeslot. You aren't going to get the majority of the Heroes crowd to watch something that is so opposite.
Its a damn shame that this isn't even being allowed to ride-out the rest of the season because it seems to be better received now than it was at first.

Please don't cancel this show! It is one of the most original and entertaining shows out there, and has an amazing cast! It is only going to get better!
Please, don't take away the show. It's one of my favorites, I've been watching since the pilot faithfully. I have my sister tape it for me every week because I have work on Monday nights. I think it's one of the best shows on TV right now, and it deserves a chance. The type of family and brotherhood featured in the show is a tremendous rarity in the mainstream, and pulling The Black Donnellys now would a great injustice, especially to those of us who are genuine fans. Please, give it a chance. This hiatus I've read about isn't fair either. How can you expect the show to have a fair a shot and to receive a whole, accurate look at it's rate of success if you don't even let the first season finish itself out with fluidity? Please, please, give it a chance. Listen to those of us who care enough about it to bother trying to save it. Don't sacrifice quality for the extra buck; the industry is already flooded with sell-outs such as those.
I love The Black Donnellys and will always love it. I hope the first season gets a DVD release, at least....

Please don't cancel this show. Its a wonderfully written show with depth and great characters. Please have faith and continue to support good programming instead of repeatedly putting in reality tv "filler".
Your pursuit of the immediate dollar has sucked dry the artistic well at your network. Let the show gain a following before you pull the plug. You seem to always pull the trigger on the smartest, best written shows targeted at grown ups first. Do yourselves a favor and let this show fill the mafia void that the Sopranos will be leaving after it's final nine episodes. Not all of us want to see Deal or No Deal 2 hour specials 3 nights a week.

I LOVE this show. It is the only thing I watch on NBC! Give it a chance and give it up on another stupid wedding show!! Maybe Fox or FX will take it on and have tons of success! The Black Donnellys should not be canceled. It's honestly one of the most entertaining shows out there right now. The mix of action, humor, romance, and wit is amazing. The extent to which the Donnellys will go to help and save one another is phenomenal and aw-inspiring. This show is very original and has a fantastic plot and cast, it needs to be given a chance. I really do believe that NBC would be making a huge mistake by canceling such an amazing show. Not to mention that it's great to see Kirk Acevedo on something other than just Oz reruns. He's a great actor and I'd love to get to see him be able to show it.
If NBC is trying to find a show that will match or top Law and Order's ratings, they will never hold on to a show for long. This show is amazing and has done nothing but get better and better. Don't drop it, NBC.
It is sad that you want to cancel this show. The characters are compelling. I'd rather watch this than the next teen show or another cop show, don't we have enough of them. Some of us adults really like shows like this. Drama at its finest. Get a clue NBC
One of the few NBC shows with decent writing, complex characters, and interesting plot lines. The only problem with this show is the time slot it has been subjected to. Ever since the cancellation of "The West Wing", my hope for NBC has been dwindling. If "The Black Donnellys" is shelved for good, then that will be the final nail in the coffin for me. Disgraceful, NBC. Absolutely disgraceful.

i don't understand why they'd cancel this show when it was so good and only getting better. they didn't even give it a fair try and i'm going to be really pissed if they don't keep it around. they can't just end it, it doesn't work like that, it's numbers aren't horrible and i don't understand how they could change it out for some stupid reality show that looks retarded anyways? i agree i'm boycotting NBC unless they bring the black donnellys back.
