I can't even begin to express my frustrations at the cancellation. NBC didn't give this show a fair chance! The lead in for TBD (Heroes) has been re-runs for the last month! That's not a very fair shake when you're trying to determine who stays and who goes.
I hope NBC takes this petition into consideration and not cancel a show based on a few rating slumps. Even if it does become moved to a new time, atleast keep the show going (if not, post the completed episodes up for fans who enjoy GOOD TELEVISION SHOWS).
This is BY FAR the best show of it's type on the tube right now. Cutting it short would be like only allowing half of the first season of the sopranos and then cutting it off - BONE HEAD MOVE. If NBC does not want to market the show properly, sell it to HBO and let them really turn the show into the masterpiece it is.
I thought NBC finally had the right idea. I guess they are going back to being a joke again. Maybe another station will have the common sense to pick up this show.
Everytime a network has a well written, superbly acted, smart drama, they give it the axe. It makes me crazy. This is another must see show for me, i look forward to it every week. Please let it live.
DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!! It's my favorite show next to HOUSE. It is an incredible show and my entire family is hooked. NBC will be making a huge mistake if they cancel The Black Donnellys.
TBD is hands down THE BEST dramatic series on TV. I can't watch TV at nights b/c I work, but I go online at 6AM every Tuesday to watch that week's episode. Figures that NBC would take something great, make it highly accessible, but promote it basically nowhere. Looks like the newest trash tv reality show will keep me off NBC's website and channel...
Give this show a chance. The following for this show grows every week. If people aren't watching it yet, word of mouth will put this to the top of the ratings by next season.
I'm shocked! How could NBC even think about getting rid of this show! Have some patience, it makes me sick! I guess I shouldn't expect more from a network that is relying on Howie Mandel to stay a float! This show is fresh and exciting. Its layered, is brilliantly edited and makes great use of music. I will permanently think of NBC as the dumbest network on tv if they Cancel this show!
They had better not cancel such a well written show. Before they even consider canceling it, they should get rid of some of the other crap on their network.
Please don't take it away. It's such an awesome show. Full of action, intrigue, and is just a wonderfully shot show. Paul Haggis is showing you NBC how to do a good show again, don't throw it away. This is one of the shows that men and women love, teen, adult or senior. It's great.
This is one of the best written shows that NBC has. Please do not cancel it. It is one of the few current shows that not only has some good storylines but it also has a great deal of substance, not just a string of bad one line jokes or predictable characters.
A refreshingly fast-paced show keeping you on your toes, forcing you to think outside the box to solve gruesome problems. NBC is making a huge mistake by not letting this show blossom further.
I can't believe they are pulling the show! I started watching it after it took the time slot of another fantastic show that NBC has killed, Studio 60. If this is pulled, I don't think there is a single show that I would bother tuning into on NBC anymore. What happened to the NBC I know and love?
One of the best shows I've seen in a very long time. I haven't been this hooked on a show since HBO's Six Feet Under, and thats a tough act to compare with!

This is the best show that I have seen in years! It's also the only thing I watch on NBC after they canceled Studio 60. I won't be watching the network anymore, that's for sure.
This show is amazing. There nothing like this out there. To cut this show even before the second season is a retarded move. It was doing way better when it was after Heroes instead of Deal or No Deal and next week with a NEW PILOT. NBC really isn't trying to make this show work. Well fine start a new Law & Order series or a new reality show; get you ratings. I won't be tuning in. NBC is not the hip channel i once knew. It's runned now by talentless hacks.
This is a brilliant show with a ton of potential. Canceling it before it has time to mature would be a mistake. It is really good now and could be great!
Please keep the show, it hasn't even had a chance to live yet, and you're going to kill it! In its short life it's better than 80% of the shows out there!
Please do not cancel THE BLACK DONNELLY'S. The writing is inspired considering it's for TV, the acting and directing, superb. It draws one in slowly yet completely.Please give it a chance.

Please, please, please don't cancel The Black Donnellys. It's one of the very few shows left on tv that I actually enjoy and genuinely look forward to all week. The cast is wonderful, the writing is superb.... It is really one of the best shows to air on NBC in a long time. Don't count it out just yet!
The Black Donnelly is my favorite new show. It would be a shame to see it canceled. Although, I think it would do better with a different time period since it is a bit dark for Mondays with or without a good lead in. Please give it a try.

Let's see, a riveting drama that has virtually every component of a good television show (like excellent well thought out dialogue, a little bit of humor, and an AMAZING cast to top it off) or a piece of crap "reality" show that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to offer...hmm, which should I choose?

if you cancel this show, you are a big bunch of jackasses with no foresight. you let JOEY run for two seaons. JOEY for godsakes. it was a stinky piece of shit from the pilot. and now you want to cut this season short? jackasses i tell you. wake up, corporate drones. stop spoon feeding us shit we don't want and taking away the few morsels you're lucky enough to produce.
Please do not cancel this show! You have a strond fan base that will grow as the story progresses and if you do have to get rid of the show at least change the time spot where it can dominate instead of putting it against the hardest the competition!
