What garbage, why on EARTH would they cancel such a well written and acted show... and to replace it with the reality show "The Real Wedding Crashers"... I'd love to smack some sense into these network idiots. Keep Donnelly's, everyone here begs of you jerks to just keep Donnelly's!

You can NOT cancel this show! This is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. I don't know what's going on over there at the network but all your loyal viewers are starting to get pissed for all the great shows you've been canceling. Get it together and start by not canceling The Black Donnely's!!!
Finally we have a show with real characters and a story line and now they want to take it way? The show is like a mix of goodfellas and the sorpanos but the younger years i'm so excited about the show you can't take it away. y not trying to promot the show better, i was told about the show weeks after it air, thank god for the online shows or would not have experience it.
I'll hate NBC for Life... you guys have only 2 shows that are worth watching The Black Donnellys and The Office... there are more shows to cancel... Prison Break and 24 were my top 2 favorite shows until the Black Donnellys came along. Well, I guess I'll stick with FOX if NBC is going to be this stupid. I looked so forward to Monday nights because of the Black Donnellys. This really, really sucks!
This is a great show! You put this show behind Heroes and that is the best 2 bours on television. Now you are going to cancel for yet another reality TV show? I hope it gets picked up on another network.
This show is the only reason why I look forward to mondays! This has got to be one of the greatest shows in about a decade I mean the story line is so driven and entertaining, Paul Haggis has done a wonderful job with this script, and what is the reason for cancelling it I could not believe that when i heard the news. I was so dissapointed when I didnt see a preview for next weeks show now mondays will be boring, THANKS NBC FOR NOTHING
This is the reason why myself, and millions others, refuse to watch network shows anymore. The networks have zero patience and never allow a show an opportunity at building itself a following. Haggis should take this show to either HBO or Showtime where he can be shown real support and patience.
This show is so different from everything on TV - even the Sopranos. We love it and the characters. I have to know what is going to happen next!! Please promote it more and people will watch!!!
This is the best show NBC has going for it. In fact, because it is so horrible a move to cancel this show, I (and all my friends and family) will boycott the station...we all love that show, so why would we want to support NBC?
Why is that TV is loaded with crap and the second a good show comes around they dont give it a chance and cancel it. Way to have a little patience with the show...in case you didnt remember shows like Seinfield bombed when they first started out.
One of the most entertaining and original shows I've seen in a long time, being replaced by a Reality Show.. who would have thunk it.. Painful to see NBC drop the bar.
save this show..i cannot believe this petition had to be started..NBC is losing their grip on reality..its simple--sit down, watch the show and then tell us you are not hooked--if you can say that with a straight face-then you probably "can" eat only one Lay's potato chip ..save TBD !!
This is a great show, look at the writers of it, how could you pull off a show with so much talent! mean time you have horrific shows like 1vs100, americas got talent, and carson doing comedy (good thing he is on a 130am)??? NBC cant do reality, everyone else is doing it, keep shows with an actual story like heroes, donnellys,friday night lights. Give it more time and make it more apparent that it is even on television! Please dont get rid of it, It will just mean tv is going down the tubes!
Don't cancel the show, it's one of the most entertaining and thrilling shows on tv. Replacing it with some garbage reality show that I WILL NOT WATCH is even more ridiculous. Why do I even bother watching a show from season one. I might as well start watching shows that have been on tv for 3 or 4 years so I know they won't be cancelled abruptly. STUPID NBC.
I cannot even believe what I'm hearing! It seems anytime there is a show with some substance, on network TV, it never survives, and it is immediately replaced with some mindless garbage. How is it that picking a case or figuring out which degenerate is the rodeo clown is more popular than a show that is well-written, has characters that work great together, and god-forbid, has a plot to it, can't survive? UNBELIEVABLE! NBC shouldn't bother creating any more dramas, since there doesn't seem to be a captive audience for them. And it seems everytime they do put one on, such as The Black Donnellys, viewers like me love them. However, I have to watch them, knowing they will not survive the first 5 episodes, and will be replaced with more garbage. It's really sad.
The Black Donnellys is the best show. There hasn't been a show like this a long time. I watch every week and once the show is over I can't wait for the next week. Please do not cancel this show.
Cancelling this show is ridiculous. It has not even been given a chance. Personally, I had never even seen it advertised. I actually watched the first episode by accident and have been absolutely hooked ever since. In my opinion, this is currently the best show on t.v.

save this show. has any of the NBC "so-called" brass actually sat and watched the show ? you can't help but caught up in it. brothers watching after brothers--great cast of characters--tons of potential for more characters / storylines..save the show !!!! what would they replace it with ? another show for Jason Alexander or Michael Richards ?

Please PLEASE don't replace Black Donnelly's with more crap from Ashton Kutcher!! Some viewers actually enjoy following a real plot with complex characters.
The Black Donnellys is the new breed! Sopranos is coming to an end, after dragging its feet for a few years. I think many fans will turn to the Black Donellys. Same time slot and an hour long show instead of silly half hour segments that HBO does. The cast is great and youthful which is good to see because it gives the story line room to grow more realistically. There is a great positive buzz about the Donnellys, maybe a little advertising push could help grab new viewers. Please do not let this show go away. It is one of the best shows on tv. After Sopranos is done, and 24 wraps up for the season. Only Entourage and Black Donnellys to pull in the young crowd.
