I'm the kind of person who cannot sit through commercials and cannot wait a whole week in between episodes but EVERY week I've been sitting on my couch in front of the TV watching TBD! I love it! It's so incredible!
Please give this show a chance, NBC. Just like you did for your Emmy-Award winning show "The Office"
Please DO NOT CANCEL this show! It's Paul Haggis for crying out loud! It's brilliant! Give it a chance! Move it to another night, then! Who needs another reality show???
Because the "real wedding crashes" is a quality program. NBC has the collective genius of two lemmings with their tails tied running in opposite directions. I hope whoever made this decision is plagued with explosive diarrhea while stuck in traffic all the way home from their obviously over-paid, non-sensical, pointless position.
What kind of idots does the network have working there.A bunch of old guys that want to watch people live on an island or watch people crash weddings, who cares. The network needs to get some people under 65 years old that knows what good TV is,,you guys are morons..I will never watch NBC again......
This is the best show on TV right now. This would be a HUGE mistake to pull it. It's on an awful time-slot at 10 PM Eastern time and is doing really good for it's time slot. DO NOT TAKE THIS SHOW OFF THE AIR!
Seriously? You want to cancel this show? This is one of the best shows you have on NBC. I have lost faith in TV networks' abilities to judge good dramas. I have yet to run across ANYONE who doesn't love The Donnellys so you should probably re-evaluate your ratings system, as it apparently doesn't work AT ALL.
The show needs some work (hellooo, pacing?) but it is still better than most of the crap out there. A show like this needs more time to build a fan base. And I liked Studio 60, too, for the record. Doesn't anyone want to make television for intelligent people?
I rarely watch t.v. anymore because there's really nothing good on. Then the Black Donnelly's comes on, I became hooked and now NBC is going to take it away. Please don't cancel this show!
I was starting to get into this!
You gotta give a show more time to create hype and a word of mouth fanbase. I can understand studio 60 being canceled, that show blew, but NBC is making a really bad decision here. Who wants to watch 3 hours of Deal or No deal? I cant take 5 minutes of that crap
Cancel those in charge of programming decisions and or the marketing dept but don't cancel one of the best written shows on NBC. what are these guys at NBC thinking?????
from the first episode this show made it into my top 5 favorite shows. its better than most shows on at the moment because of such a great storyline and cancelling it would ruin the network.
Thsi show is amazing TV, one of only 3 shows that I actually enjoy watching... it would be a very foolish move to take it off the air before it even gets its legs! Save this show!
the black donnelly's is one of the best shows on the tube. i have never tried to keep a show on the air, but i will do whatever i can to help save the black donnelly's. i was already planning to purchase
season one if it came out on dvd. please don't take another great show off the air !!!!!!!!!
This is an amazing show. I watch it on Global in Ottawa and look forward to every Monday night. This could be the next Soprano's! The "boys" are great. ALready it has been fun to watch Tommy change in his roll as a brother. They get us hooked and yank out the carpet just like "Windfall" and "John Doe". Both where fabulous shows that got yanked! DON"T DO IT TO THE DONELLEY'S
I just heard the news and I'm surprised. There are so many of us who chat about it and can't wait to watch! It's a disappointment that TBD's is going and American Idol stays every year. What is this country coming to?!?!
Black Donnelly's is a great follow for Heroes, and the unpredictable plot keeps me watching- on NBC.com when I can't catch it on tv at the scheduled time. This is a well done quality show, and I'm surprised to find out it's up for cancellation.
I don't watch a lot of TV. When the pilot for TBD aired, I was immediately hooked. I looked forward to Monday nights so that I can catch the show. Upon hearing about the cancellation, I am absolutely livid to hear that it is being replaced by yet, another stupid reality show. This is a BAD decision on NBC.
I actually really like this show, maybe some more advertising will bring in viewers. I came across this online. If I hadn't seen it there I would have never know it was on. Give it some more time to get viewers!!!
This is ridiculous. The Black Donnellys is the best show on NBC, and the only reason why I tune in to that network. If they hope to compete with ABC,which broadcasts my other favorite shows, they should stick with TBD, which I know is going to become a huge hit!
Finally a fantastic show comes along, and look what happens, why don't they try showing this in a popular time slot if they want more viewers! What a crock, NBC can SUCK IT!
This show has the potential to be one of the best shows ever made. Boycott NBC if they take this show off! I can't imagine anything else they put out being NEAR the quality of The Black Donnelly's. Spectacular TV.
We must stop NBC from canceling a really fantastic show! I rather watch The Black Donnellys over those game/reality TV shows.
What a disgrace if NBC actually dares to cancel my favorite tv show. I enjoy watching TBD after viewing Prison Break & 24 on Monday nights.
The Black Donnellys was a well-written quality tv drama. I love its complex storyline; great acting; great story;great writers/producers etc.
From the minute the pilot of this show started I was hooked. How can you cancel such an amazing show with as big of a following as it has gained since it started?! DON'T CANCEL THE BLACK DONNELLYS!!!!!!!!!!!
Pulling The Black Donnellys is pretty consistent with NBC's post-"Friends" idiocy. You know, "Friends" didn't even capture an audience in only a month. I don't know how you couldn't have waited to see what the ratings were going to be like with "Heroes" as a lead in. "Heroes" was my favorite show on TV before seeing The Black Donnellys, but now that NBC has clearly couldn't care less about quality I will be boycotting the network in it's entirety, "Heroes" and all. I'll be getting my "Heroes" from iTunes, sans the commercials that keep you afloat.
This is such a bad decision! There is nothing left on Network TV worth watching - maybe FX will pick it up - they seem to be at least remotely interested in playing good tv shows!
The Black Donnelly's is the first show that I have seen in years that I can stand watching. It does not have a bunch of snibbling politically correct cry babies. It is a show about a nationality of people who have been persecuted just as much if not more than any other group of people in this country, and they are being silenced. We have seen the Italians, we have seen The African Americans, the homosexuals, and just about every other demographic Now it is time for the Irish to shine and they want to pull the plug? Says a lot about the NBC Network, and the chimps working there. Save the Donnelly's maybe advertise more instead of running add after add about shows that already established I am sure it will someday save the network, which is on it's way out.
I cannot believe that NBC would even dream of canceling this show!! It's an unbelievable show and I can't wait to watch it every Monday night. It defiantly deserves a chance!!
