The Black Donnellys is the best idea NBC has had in years. Its the only show in a very long time that I am sure to watch every week and the ONLY reason we tune in to NBC at all.
nbc never gave it a chance from the start. please, give this drama with great acting &wonderful storytelling (unlike most of what we see on tv these days) the chance it deserves!
PLEASE DON'T CANCEL THE BLACK DONNELLYS!! Your network is hurting to begin with, yet you're choosing to cancel one of the best shows thats been on TV in a long time?!
The Black Donnelly's is the nest show on the air and if NBC gives it the "BOOT" then it will be goodbye to good television and hello to crap, nobody wants to see the "real wedding crashers" it will tank!!
Do Not Cancel this show. You will be making a huge mistake. I have not met a person who does not like this show. If anything move it to a primetime spot on Tuesdays.
The Black Donnellys is one of the best show to come along in years. Why the hell are they not advertising the show? Most importantly why is the show on at 10:00pm? Someone at that network should be fired! They finally get a flagship show and don't know what to do with it. 9:00pm would be an ideal times slot. This show would do well on cable. Too bad HBO didn't get the show, especially with the Sopranos ending.
Lets see: NBC can afford to pump out 1-2 hour shows, 2-3 times a week, of that tired suit case opening, super lame, "oh, lets see, did i really come on the show to take the first offer,NO, but let me make a big "deal" about anyway" pathetic excuse for a game show! But, when they actually have come up with what i, and many others would concider, one of the best crime dramas to hit network TV, they (NBC) cant see the value in that. Maybe if you put a fraction of the amount of support into the Donnelys as you do with all of the other garbage you produce, it would have suceeded better. Keep it up NBC, and not even Heros will be enough to keep you on my viewing list!

This show is amazing. I get excited every Monday because I know that night I get to watch The Black Donnelly's. It is is canceled for good I hope another network picks it up and the ratings are amazing.
NBC sucks. I hate that just because a station has no idea what they are doing that they cancel great shows. The Black Donnelly's is one for instance and Heroes would be another. What's with all of the month or two breaks between the two or three episodes they play. Nice work killing interest in your shows NBC!
Please don't cancel The Black Donnellys. It is one of the better shows that I have seen in a long time. I also enjoyed Studio 60. What is is when you have an intelligent show it doesn't seem to last long at all. We don't need another reality show.
Maybe they should move this to 9pm and it would get better rating. The intelligent people that would watch the show and enjoy it have to get up for work the next day. NBC wheres your common sense.
DON'T CANCEL. This is great television. A well crafted show, with great characters. One of only 3 network shows I watch. NBC is going to lose me after this.
This was the only good show NBC had going for them. Now they want to cancel it. If i were any of these other networks i would pick up thier contract because the ratings from this show will skyrocket.
Please keep this show on. It is very rare that a show with such charisma is produced and I can say this is the only show that I watch every week after week!!!
I do not think your giving this show a fair chance. Six episodes, is hardly enough. I'm sucked it in and now your ripping the floor from underneath me. I think you should reconsider this decision. Possibly move the night, or see if another network is interested, or possibly make the new episodes available online. I have been watching the episode on monday night and then watching it agian online on tuesday. I don't think a show that can make someone to do that deserves to get cancelled.
PLEASE continue The Black Donnellys! I very rarely watch TV but have become addicted to this show....I even re-watch it on NBC.com...This one's a keeper!
GREAT DRAMA If nbc is crazy enough to cancel hopefully someone else will pick it up. There are too many reality shows that require no thought process. We need great dramas like the Donnellys that keep us wanting more.
I'm not a HUGE TV watcher...but this is one show that I WOULD NOT MISS. This is the best new show to come out in a very long time. I'll follow this show to whichever network picks it up. It's intelligent, has a great cast and brilliant writing. What more could you want? Please save this amazing show.
Why would you even dream of cancelling this show... release it in the UK and it will draw in massive crowds. We love this sort of stuff! Please don't cancel it, or at least make it available somewhere.
I have found that the only shows keeping NBC alive is Scrubs, My Name is Earl and The Office. Fox has the best programming and pulling the Black Donnellys from Monday night will just give me one more night of FOX.
