Please don't cancel the show. It's an amazing piece of greatness and I think a large problem with the ratings is that they are not truly reflective of the fanbase.
This cancellation is justproof positive that without Friends, NBC execs can't make any right decisions, yet another reason why they are no longer the number one network anymore and won't be for a long time. Make a good decision for once, NBC Execs!!!! Give this show a chance for at least a full season and not up against mammoths like the NCAA Tournies!!
No question, one of the best shows on TV. It would be a shame to cancel this show. And people wonder what has happened to NBC and its ratings. Here's an idea NBC, how about another "REALITY" show. That would be great. NBC is turning into a joke of a network.
One of the best shows on tv...the only reason it's not more of a hit is because it's on later than many prime time shows...definitely please keep it on air!!!
I love this show, it's something different and refreshing. Please people get the word out and lets get as many possible signatures as we can. This show deserves a chance..come on NBC, it's a great cast and different then all other shows on television right now! SAVE "THE BLACK DONNELLYS" Please!!!!!!!!!
I just recently appointed The Black Donnelly's the coveted title of "my favorite show." I don't understand how one week of bad ratings could lead to this! I was shocked and saddened at the cancellation and I hope NBC sees the light.
this is rediculos!!! why would you cancel such an amazing show? SO sorry its not a reality tv show. some poeple don't want to see that. we need better shows we finally get one and you want to cancel it??
screw NBC
Cancelling this show will only lead mroe people to cable tv....The Black Donnelly's is a wonderful show -its original and my favorite show. I dont watch TV often but i have been glued tothis show since it started...cancelling it is a BIG mistake.
This is such a good show. It really should not be cancelled. If you're looking to cancel a show, cancel ER. That show has been on for well over ten years. The Black Donnelly's is so well-written and has so much potential. Not to mention, it's different from other dramas. Cancelling this show would be a huge mistake.
TBD is awesome. The story has so much potential if given a chance. PLEASE keep them around and try to air TBD when Heroes comes back with new episodes.
This is one of the best shows I have seen in years. There are too many reality shows on as it is and I know if this show gets canceled I will not be tuning in to the new series.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT CANCEL THE BLACK DONNELLY'S. It is my new favorite show of the year and the best one I've seen. I love all the characters and the writing is amazing. Once again PLEASE DON'T CANCEL THE BLACK DONNELLY'S!!!!!
Please, please don't cancel this show. It's got so much potential. There are way too many reality shows out there now and there is no need for another one... just to replace an already popular, huge fan based show like The Black Donnelly's.
This was a really good show. Well-written, well-acted. Lot of potential for new characters and scripts. Tough time slot. 10:00 is way too late, especially for an east-coast-based show. And, it was BOUND to have bad audience numbers Monday - that's the night of the NCAA championship game, for goodness' sake. Why does NBC cancel things so quickly. Remember the lesson of Cheers. Terribly poor showing. But it lingered and got renewed. Made it through the first couple of seasons. Later, became the number one show on TV - an all-time great. Thanks Brandon Tartikoff. And, a lot of people won't watch a new show BECAUSE of a move just like this. You can't trust the networks not to screw you over after you begin to like the show. NBC needs to take its time and build up a stable of good shows and stop following the other networks. What's wrong with finding a show with a strong male demographic? 24 is a great show, and seems to draw advertisers even though lots of guys like it. TBD should have been a great follow-up to Heroes. That 1-2 punch makes for a SOLID Monday lineup. But, NBC started showing re-runs of Heroes about the time it brought out TBD. That's too much pressure: (1) a new show with no built-in audience; (2) a terrible time slot; (3) a lead-in show that suddenly goes into hiatus; and (4) on a network that's currently known for cancelling shows after four or so episodes. They should give TBD another shot.
Great show, but it needs the following to spice things up: (1) more Irish people drinking very heavily, (2) more violence (especially girl-on-girl fights), (3) skimpier clothes on the hot deli brunette, and (4) more humor (e.g., Dennis Leary shows up as a regional Irish mob boss, takes the brothers under his wing, and the hilarity begins.)
Why dont Executives know anything? Cancel the Grease show or Jay Leno's Garage or Poker After Dark or The Real Wedding Crashers or any of those horrible shows!!
one of the best acted and written shows on television right now... it deserves a better timeslot on a better nite... how do you expect this show to thrive with deal or no deal as its lead in? completely different audiences! even heroes has a different audience!
