please only switch timeslots. the show deserves to be on, it's something different for network tv. at least let the season play out at a different time.
I AM SO UPSET TO HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this show. I haven't been this into a series since the early ER. The narrative angle is fresh and adds to the mystery of the show...I agree completely that we DON'T need another mindless, "reality" show!!!! My own reality that I live everyday is enough for me!!!!! This is starting to become serial in nature...please...TBD is fresh, smart, addicting and the characters are round and extremely well acted. As an intelligent viewer from the professional world, I am astonished to hear this news....NBC used to take pride in being rather "cutting edge" in its programing (ie; ER, The Cosby Show, Seinfeld, The Tonight Show) and found other networks copying them, now it seems that NBC is in the game of manufacturing copies of other network offerings. Too bad NBC, you were the creative leader, now you're selling out and exchanging truly creative shows like TBD for mediocrity!!!!!! You haven't even allowed it to carve out a base- read the boards. Maybe if you spent some time promoting it effectively rather than wasting money, time and focus on reality carbon copy trash...it could develop an explosive following!
best show on tv! dont you are get rid of this. its the only thing worth watching. and on top of it NBC has insulted the american public by putting on some half ass reality show about crashing weddings!?!? IF YOU TAKE THIS OFF THAN YOU CAN SUCK IT NBC, YOU LOST ME AS A VIEWER FOR LIFE!
NBC has added another investigative/fiction story, another reality show...The Black Donnellys are original, and well acted, directed and written. Finally, some originality!
its already bad enoough that deal or no deal is on like every night(cant stand it) but dont get rid of the only show i actually watch every week(other than the csi's)
This is ridiculous. I can't believe we have to do something like this to try and save a show like the Black Donnellys. This show has the potential to be in the same league as the Sopranos.
This is easily one of NBC's top 5 shows. If NBC wants to get back the viewers, they need to keep this show. After watching it tonight (April 2, 2007), it would be a mistake to even be thinking of cancelling it.
This show is incredible. Finally, someone captures the Irish who always seemed to shadow the Italians in American film and tv. If this show is canceled, I will only watch Heroes, but will stick to reading books instead of watching the other garbage that the executives think is quality. Quantity does not mean quality.
