Please don't cancel The Black Donnelly's. I believe it is a show with a good story arc and great potential. I also believe it hasn't been given enough time to develop a large enough fan base. A lot of intelligent fans don't watch shows at the beginning because they worry about being dissapointed, either by lack of plot or early cancellation. TBD is a wonderfully written show and if you produce good quality tv week after week people will eventually catch on. Seinfield was not a success it's first season either and it is now part of american history. You should have more faith in your producers and shows and actually give them time to reach their potential instead of quickly dumping them for the next "easy or cheap" thing that comes your way.

Come on NBC. You finally get a drama that could give you some of teh steam that the Law and Order franchises have lost over the years and you cancel it in favor of another stupid reality show? Like there aren't already enough mindless crap on TV as is? Bring back the Donnelly's!!!
This is a great, original TV show. Very refreshing to see on NBC! Please don't cancel it ... I'm sure that if actually given a chance to follow "Heroes" the viewership will pick up!

You broke my heart. The best acted and writted show on TV today is cancelled by some pencil necked accountant geeks. I cancel NBC until I get my show back.
TBD is excellent programming. There is no sense in pulling it away before it has a chance to fly. Give this show more time, and it will prove itself. TBD shows promise, and has drama and heart.
We have not had a good show like this for a long time, since the era of "Nothing-But-Real ity-Shows". Keep this show, and "Heroes", and I will continue to look into new program line-ups you put on the air. If you ccontinue to pull promising shows like these, I will be sure to not only keep from watching your station, but will tell all of my friends and family to boycott as well.
it really would be a waste of a great show with great actors if it were taken off NBC. this show is definitely a highlight of my week and i would be extremely upset if it were cancelled for good.

This show deserves to stay. It is wonderful and suspenseful. It is one of the best shows on and I look forward to watching it. Please leave this show on the air. Kill the reality shows, keep the Black Donnellys!!!!!
You folks need to get a grip.Not everyone who watches television is a mindless idiot who wants more stupid "reality" shows.The Black Donnellys is one of the more intelligent programs you've offered in recent years,and,as evidenced by this petition,many of us have already committed to it.Please leave this show on the air.You pander to the brainless masses with enough other programming.
It is rare that a network produces a show of such high caliber. The quality of writing, the depth of the story, the foresight of direction, are all superior to what you would normally find on television. The Black Donnellys is a story of failed redemption, of regretful violence and undesired fate. It is as close to literature that I have ever seen on television, and I applaud NBC for the ambition to produce a show of such quality.
In the same breath however, it is a shame that NBC cannot see the forest through the trees. That they cannot see the benefits of producing a show that raises the benchmark not by inches, but by yards.
I implore NBC to reevaluate its decision. People do desire quality, and The Black Donnellys provides that. Please give the people what they want; something that NBC can be proud of.
This is one of the best show's out there, I look forward to it every week. Reality tv has had its hayday people want good drama shows and comedy again. DO NOT CANCEL THE BLACK DONNELY'S.

Dear NBC-- For the amount of creative talent (and money)invested in the show, you have to give it more of a shot than you have.
I watch it on HD, and have been recodring it faithfully. I've told all my friends about it, and despite my normal avresin to violence on television, I'm totally hooked on TBD. The cinematography and acting are so intense.
Stop it with the systematic mid-season switcheroo of your programming already- that's the real problem, not the show!

That's BS, this show is great and I'll make sure everyone I come in contact with never watches another NBC show again unless they stop the cancellation of The Black Donnelly's.
I love this show, and I want it to stay on! Do we really need another reality show? The answer is no. I have to admit, it's not the best show in the world, but I tune in to watch it every week, and it'd be very sad if the show were to be cancelled. So keep it alive!
This is my favorite new show, the acting is great and I love the plots. I'm tired of all the stupid new 'reality shows' (like any of them are like real life!) and I even thought this was better than the Sopranos! And they're much hotter to look at!
