This show was amazing. It was full of excitement and for all those who had a hard time understanding then you can go online and rewatch the episode to get a better understanding. I hate sitcoms but i really got into this show and watch it religiously please change your mind and keep it around.
don't cancel the black donnellys! this is one of THE only shows i watch. it's fantabulous! and seriously...no one friggin' watches 30 rock and that got resigned...
Give it a chance. Buy 13 more for the fall season and let it get a chance to really grab an audience. PAUL HAGGIS DIDN'T CREATE THE SHOW TO GET CANCELLED AFTER 7 EPISODES. Give it a chance. For chrissake you're giving "30 rock" a chance!
I would give up all other television for this one show - inlcuding Lost, Grey's, and the Office. NBC set up this show for failure. It is like asking a kid to do the high-jump in competition, then sawing off the pole by 7 inches. I loved Studio60...if Black Donnelly's is doing as well as that show and it was put on mid-season during a highly viewed sports competition, then viewership will only continue to improve (that is, if they are given the same promotion that other shows were given). If memory serves me correctly, the Sopranos only had a viewership of 5 million/episode (? can anyone verify) their first season. Yet, it became a powerhouse hit. I think all Donnelly fans should boycott all NBC shows if they take it off the air. I know that I for one, will not watch NBC again (for fear that they won't give good shows w/tight scripts a chance, and the next tight show that comes along will be once again picked up by "Waste Management".
If TBD is getting yanked, I hope it's not b/c of ratings. Monday is a tough night - the only night of TV worth watching. The NCAA tournament was on and leading in with that ridicuolous Deal or No Deal show could not have helped.
This is one of the best things to hit NBC in a long time. Cacelling it is a bad, bad move. It has such a loyal fanbase. Give it a chance. Advertise it more. The fans will do the rest to make it succeed.
There are enough crappy, laughless, boring comedy's on TV. Finally NBC finds a niche, and doesn't let it develop. ISn't that the revolting blob from Billy Madison? No one will watch this show. "Thank God You're" not the only network on TV
The show hasn't even been on that long and you're going to cancel? I never had a reason to watch NBC before this show. NBC NEEDS this show. I suppose you could replace it with some rip off reality show that's already been done a hundred different ways. Besides, cancelling this show means you hate Irish people and want them all to die. You don't want to send out that kind of message to the Irish...do you?
I don't watch much t.v. but this show caught my attention like no other show has in years. Don't cancel this show. Give it time to grow. Jumping the gun is never smart.
This show is everything the Sopranos only wished it could be! I beg you not to cancel it! How many crappy shows are still on the air that don't deserve it. Yet The Black Donnelly's are getting pulled after only 6 or so episodes! Reality TV blows! God forbid you have to spend a little more on a show that actually requires talent!
I guess it's all about the bottom line huh!
