NBC, you're giving up too soon!! This show is amazing, and if you ADVERTISE it more, this show will be a phenomenon! In fact, its obvious that there are already millions of loyal fans, and there'll be millions more if you just ADVERTISE THE SHOW and give it more time!
What ever happened to quality TV? No wonder so many people have given up network TV for the better quality of cable network shows. On those networks, 5 MILLION viewers is enough to keep a show alive. Why is network TV so fickle?
This show is really developing the characters well...and they are interesting and the plot is good...why cancel it? Give it a chance because people are going to need something like this after The Sopranos is over. How many bloodly ER shows can TV handle? This one was a fresh change.
It is a vital part of the entertainment world. Never did I encountered a show so unique as this one. If one enjoyed the movie the Departed or Four Brothers, why not watch this show? It's like an on going movie that has the components of these great movies. Come on, are you really serious about cancelling it?
Please do not cancel the Black Donnelly's!!!! This is the best show since the Sopranos. Ok, so it's a little violent for prime time, but some of the other prime time shows out there are quite racey too!!! NBC, you need to give this show much longer then a month to get it's ratings up. I tell all my friends to watch it because it is the best show on tv right now. Many people don't know about it, but those that watch it after I mention it absolutely love it! SAVE the DONNELLY'S!!!!!!!!!
This is my new favortie show. Its the first show in awhile that i get excited about watching and revolve my schedual aroud. Everyone I've talked to says they love it or they havent seen it so i've been telling people to start watching it and more and more people actually have and they've liked it. It would be a huge mistake to cancel this show
This show has a lot of potential and i think given a slightly different market position, some creative marketing and a little time to build up some word of mouth, this could really be a hit. I think you're missing a golden opportunity by cancelling the show.
Do not cancel the black doneely's. I am an avid 24 watcher, but I have found myself leaving 24 on the Tivo for later just so I can watch the donnelly brothers. Seriously, it is the best show on TV, and if you advertise for it and put it in an appropriate timeslot or something, it will be money. Shoot, i love Hero, but Donellys is better
Come on NBC. Why do ya do that 1/2 way through a season. This is the 5th show in 5 years that I get hooked on and you go and cancel it in the middle of it's first season. You originally pick these shows, atleast let them run a full season and have some kind of finale.
NBC, you can't base your decision to cancel this phenomenal show after just one day of low ratings. Take into consideration that the target demo was not tuned in due to Spring Break and the holiday. KEEP THE SHOW. Do more publicity.
I love the Sopranos and so do alot of other people. I was bummed that this was the last season of the Sopranos until I watched The Black Donnellys and enjoyed the show as much, if not more! NBC if you are viewing these petitions - believe me you have a winner here. I know the struggle NBC has been dealing with trying to get hit shows. TBD will be one of those shows if you give it a chance - I know it will pay off in big dividends!
I really thought NBC was stepping up to the plate and knocking one out of the park with Donellys... and Studio 60 for that matter... I should have known!
Please don't end a great show. It just started! Ratings aren't even fair anymore, how many people record with DVRs these days and watch at a later time? Too many.
